Teething Problems

Hi all, hope everyones okay and enjoying the game (those of you who have it that is). Im trying to get some mods installed in my game over the next few days (ready to start a career at the weekend when i have time) ideally. However im having trouble tracking down clear guides to installing mods, and the limits on mod installation in fifa 13. I know the game is new to everyone at this point, but if anyone could help answer the following questions id be eternally grateful

- How are kits and faces installed? ive figured out adboards and installed the excellent looking unlicensed team correction mod by regularcat, but i have downloaded a few face mods, and was wondering how i should install them. I have downloaded various pieces of software (FM12, Creation Master etc) and have the revolution mod installed. After that i need to install some kits ive downloaded - i have yet to look up a guide for this, if anyone could point me to one that would be great, if not, im sure ill be fine with those.

- How many face mods can i install? i have downloaded quite a few and plan to download more, many for obscure teams and leagues, simply to prettify the game and add some uniqueness and quality to teams beyond the biggest 10 or so in the world. However, i will not see much of many of them in game, so should i restrict my mod installation to teams in the league i plan to manage in? will installing too many hit any limits or affect performance?

- How compatible is fifa 13 with fifa 12/11? do adboard/kit/face mods from those games work in fifa13 easily? could default kits be extracted from them and used in fifa 13 (ie 11/12 premier league kits)

- Finally, how much can i change without having to start a new career? Can i disable transfers, then enable them at the end of the first summer transfer window? Additionally (less likely i suppose), IF fifa12 kits ARE compatible with fifa13, could my team's kit be changed between seasons if i installed a new kit mod for my team and loaded up my career? would that break the save game? IE could i switch every season or two between the 11/12 and 12/13 kits for my club, to add variety to my career.

Sorry for the long and awkward questions, im just trying to settle in as quickly as possible, please redirect me if ive posted in the wrong place or should have read any FAQs

Not much tutorial help around here I'm afraid. You pretty much have to pick thru threads, find the bits of info you're looking for, then try and figure things out for yourself thru trial and error. Same goes for most of your questions: many of those questions have been answered in the various threads. Just keep looking and checking the threads that are active and ongoing.

... Wow. Thank you so muh rc, looks like a real life saver! Now i can get down to finding my way around the files installing some mods, and then who knows? Ive experimented with small scale modding before, might have to give it a go, much better for everyone if i can try myself rather than post requests here, although obviously thatll have to wait until i have a bit more of a clue what i'm doing with fifa's files! Anyway, something tells me this place could use a Newcastle United fan to get some new content for the team! Cheers again regularcat, now take a well earned rest and enjoy the game!
