i know someone that went to 2040 with roma. and he played it all i was amazed when i went to his house and he showed me wat year he was in i was in shock.

I know someone who got to 2060 but then he crashed it and it wouldn't load up again.
Its more the fact of something about the game can't deal with some much data in one game from results and transfers etc.
Anyway his game corrupted and he lost it all

I once new someone who got up to 2054 and is presumably still going. I can never go more than 10 years without getting bored

Most of my games last 2 or 3 years, it all depends, if I am bringing a team up from the conference that obviously lasts alot longer.

Lost the title unfortunately....

Hi guys...I just started playing Cm again after a 6 month long break from it. Just though I'd share with you my almost-disastrous season.

I managed Man Utd in the first season and achieved some pretty decent buys, like Sheerwood, who is a perfect replacement for Keane at midfield. A youngster by the name of Kalam in the United reserve's team proved to be a prolific goal poacher, netting 12 in his last 20 games....

Unfortunately....I lost the title to Arsenal by 12 points (!!!) , who for some strange reason could not stop winning and completed the season with just 1 defeat!!

I lost the European Cup final to Roma, but managed to win the Fa Cup by a 3-0 margin over Arsenal, and that was sweet indeed!

I am thinking of changing my 3-3-4 to a preferably a more stable formation with sufficient depth in midfield...maybe a 4-1-2-3, with Sheerwood and Keano in the center, and Blanc slotting in behind both of them.


Well, on to my next season now, and I was wondering if any of you guys know some cheap quality buys in the player's market?

Kaluzny is very useful. quite cheap. Have a check on someone called Adam Senior. Hes sometimes quite good.

Sounds like your last season was a bit like mine with Valencia a few years ago. Lost the title..... EVEN WITH 91PTS!!! Real Madrid got 104. They played 38, won 34 i think.... they didnt lose, put it that way.

I then lost in the CL final to them But then beat them in the spanish cup (Equivilant to FA Cup.)

I lost the CL final again a year later against Lazio....

Ok, thanks mate. I'll check those players out. I need a central defender badly now it seems, Wes Brown is out for 3 months!

hey guys, i finally managed to win my FIRST EVER treble(CL, EPL, FA) with Man Utd!!! with Van der Vaart scored a golden goal free kick in extra time of CL final!

i know some of u guys mihgt think what i have done is easy b/c i am with Man Utd, but hey, u do need some luck to win a treble!

omg, how did that happen! I played a freindly with Valencia against my bros Norwich. I lost 3-0. but all my players were on 40% fitness.... Bad scheduling on my behalf. lol

Yeah I had the same problem, it was a tournament I sceduled but it turned out nearly all my players were on international duty. I ended up with Carlton Cole and Sebastien Kniessl up front

Hi guys, just thought I'd update you on my progress...with Man Utd. I am now top of the league in my second season, ahead of Liverpool by 11 massive points. I got this Greek defender from Olympiokos for a reasonable amount and he scores goals too..one of our goalscoring defenders, it must be said.

I released Blanc on Free transfer as he was just eating up our transfer funds, with his high wage demands.

Lauren Robert from Newcastle is a massive plus point upfront, notching 4 goals in his 3 first team appearences.
