The Arsenal [2015|2016]

What kind of player he is to you?

You can usually see him between CBs helping in the build up, very good passing between lines and defensively, he wins balls mostly due to good positioning rather than physique and agressive tackling.

Under Luis Enrique, Busquets its the midfielder that press higher, very similar to what Xhaka does at Gladbach, he is not a box-to-box...

Modric dribbles and makes runs with the ball very often, his style (not level) is between Busquets and Kroos. He plays at 1-2 touches all the time and most of passes are vertical. Great player.

Doesn't really have the leg strength of Kroos but sure, remove the dribbling aspect (which is admittedly a key part of Modric's game) and that's what I was saying.

Oh and tits.
Xhaka is mobile and more mobile than Modric? His biggest weakness to me seems he is slow as hell. He is more a mix between Xabi Alonso and Schweinsteiger.

And Dahoud is Gundogan all over again.

I wasn't including Xhaka yet but he's better than many of the players you mentioned

Sanchez, Ozil, Cazorla, Bellerin, Coq; if you're asking

EDIT: in order to win the league Arsenal need to replace every player who's not in the five except cech and him just because good keepers are hard to come by

I highly doubt that to be honest. We came 2nd in the league in our worst season in living memory. What we lacked is midfield balance and a better striker.

One gigantic hole is filled, Wenger is clearly in for a striker and we will do more to renew the squad, too I suspect. Not like we have a choice this time.

Last season was a unique season where every major club other than Arsenal was in transition/experiencing massive problems - you won't come anywhere near second next season with the same performance level and personnel

Yeah, that is a worry. It might be Wagner's last season as well.

Now that he cant took us teenager from La Masia because #brexit, what will Wenger do with his life?

The last tookworthy teenager from La Masia is already at Arsenal. Rest are not worth the bother.

La Masía is an unstopabble factory of gems and you know that.

What I know is that, these things happen in cycles. There is no constant production of talent of equal level. After that massive generation of super players there was and is going to be a gap.

That was not a single generation, it was different ones. Puyol&Xavi, Iniesta&Valdes, Messi& Piqué&Cesc rtc... Are from different ages. The club still works with the greatest talents and formative coaches, what its missed is good coaches on the last stage of the youth system (Gerard is a disgrace).

What it makes the difference is a coach that trust them too (Van gaal, Pep)
