Yea, if (big if) we win the champions league, based on current standings, Spurs would transfer to the UEFA cup, Blackburn and Bolton would be high and dry.

It'd be
Group Stage: 1. Arsenal, 2. Chelsea
Qualifying Rounds: 3. Man Utd, 4 Liverpool
UEFA Cup: 5. Tottenham, 6. Wigan (Cup)

but if we win would we go to qualifying rounds?

Help?

What's going on at Arsenal this season is bizarre. Letting Vieira go to me seemed like the right move. He was getting old, and you could see signs of him falling short on occassions. It also meant the younger players would be given a chance to come through, i.e. Fabrigas playing a far more prominant role in the starting XI - which yes has happened and yes has yielding positives - but Fabrigas isn't Vieira. He doesn't have the stature and strength that Vieira had, and although Gilberto Silva has the strength to play that position, he has had to adapt his game slightly this season in order to do what Vieira did so as to support Fabrigas. He's not a tackler though, and I think it's a shame Gilberto has recieved bad press this season, because he's not been able to play his natural game.

Far too many defeats and draws though this season, and as they say, results don't lie. Only theirselves to blame I'm afraid. Hopefully they'll improve their squad in the summer and start the new chapter at The Emirates Stadium well.
I think that the problems have to do more with younger players relying on Henry in tough times and the fact that half the Arsenal first team is out for most of the season.

Wenger SHOULD have gotten us a LB in the Jan window man. He was relying on Clichy and Cole to come back and now its gonna haunt us till the end of the season. There goes our potential to attack down the left flank AND the ability to defend well.

In most games where we have lost 1-0 it is because of the LB situation. But im sure Wenger will spot some good talent at the world cup and bring in a few from there. No one overrated i hope

No he shouldn't of.

Cole was reported to be back early february. Same with Clichy. Gilbert wasn't injured and neither was Cygan. At the time it would seemed that our fullback problem would easily be solved after a few weeks. We're not in the position that we can throw money at an slight injury problem.

Well Sp*rs won, but that gives us a bit of breathing space from Blackburn.

Sp*rs are 5 points clear, but have to play Man Utd at home, Liverpool at home, Chelsea at Stamford Brdige and us at Highbury. They could easily lose all 4 games.

Bolton are 2 points behind with 2 games in hand. They have to play Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool though and go to White Hart Lane. plus they hav eto travel to Boro which they could easily drop points.

Blackburn has Liverpool and Chelsea to play still.

West Ham have a game in hand are 2 points behind. They play Bolton away soon. Hopefully it'll be a draw. They also have Man Utd and Chelsea away to play and Liverpool at home.

We have Liverpool at home next week (MUST WIN) and Man Utd away at some point (we'll lose probably) and Spurs at home.

I reckon that if we win all but maybe 2 matches of the remaining games we'll get 4th place.

Fulham boss Coleman backs Arsenal to beat Madrid

Good man (Y) I really like Coleman, he always came off as genuine to me, never buying into the popular opinion and always speaking his mind.

Moaning Welsh prick but his Fulham side don't like sitting back. They will attack at every opportunity and leave plenty of space which suited Arsenal down to earth of course.

The good thing for you is that Madrid will play the same way. Absolutely laying it on a plate for you.
