I also think that Baggio should play and try to be called up for Euro 2004. If he doesn't then he should hang his boots. It would be better to go out after a major competition, or atleast thats how I would see/do it.

When I see the Italian national team play a beautiful game of football, you'll have a point. Till' then, don't be paranoid. Italians know how to win football games, but only through defensive parameters. The only time this season I've seen an Italian side actually attack, and even that took the team half-time to accomplish, was the Inter-Benfica Second Leg at the San Siro. Winning is winning, but I'd take much more pride knowing my team plays a watchable game than whether my team can defend for extensive periods and win. That's my outlook.

Side note: Good luck to Baggio, maybe he can make this game more exciting than it will inevitably be (boring).
