- Aquilani should have started. He's had a superb start for Roma.
- Miccoli should have been called up and started over DP. DP tries too much, helps the mid but is getting old and can't do it 90min for Juve and Italy.
- Give Amauri the Italian citizenship.
- Brazagli was good.
- Oddo ran all day but Pirlo never passed him the ball when he was always open.

inzaghi wasn't up to much, DP needs to be a a super-sub for italy, but playing him as a LW at this stage of his career isn't fair

Perrotta, Zambrotta, Aquilani, Camoranesi and Materazzi are out injured and Cannavaro is suspended.

There's one glaring absence from this squad, Del Piero was dropped ,, everybody praises his attitude and professionalism,,, but he's been acting like a baby for a while now blaming everybody else for his consistently poor performances. I hope this is finally the end of his mostly mediocre Azzurri career,,

Pippo has also lost his place, but compared to the form of Toni and Iaquinta this season, it was a given. I think its strange that Lucarelli was in great form in Serie A last season, but was ignored. Now hes playing in Ukraine and is consistently getting called up.

Good to see Montolivo getting called up, its a shame Rosina is injured as I feel like he wouldve gotten a much deserved call.

Id start: Buffon; Barzagli, Panucci, Oddo, Chiellini; Pirlo, Ambrosini, De Rossi; Di Natale, Quagliarella, Toni for Georgia match

Although I agree, the forms of Toni and Iaquinta have been flat out specatcular so far.

I'm surprised about Panucci coming back...shouldn't he be a bit too old...?

I dont hate him, I just think its horribly unfair that he continues to be called up for the NT, and sometimes even start ahead of players who are in far better shape,, solely because of what hes achieved in the past..

Id say there is realistically 20 Italian forwards who deserve a spot on the NT over DP,, At best he should be a "super" sub for Juve and thats all.

Panucci is back because we havent really produced too may top quality central defenders of late, and hes played there for roma recently and has top class experience. Its a real shame Nesta seems to have so much bitterness towards the NT

he doesn't deserve a place in the national team right now, but your long standing hatred of DP is for the most part unwarranted

quite often you've been proven wrong by DP's performances in the past

Mate, I agree, DP isn't at his BEST EVER FORM right now, but mate, come on! He's the legendary DP!!! You never know when he could all of a sudden burst into a goal frenzy!! That's why I think it's a good idea to have him on the NT...for security, LOL

Yeah, too bad Nesta has such hatred for the NT...I keep hoping he's going to come back...but I doubt it...
