The Best Goal You Have Ever Scored?

Describe to everyone the best goal you have ever scored.

Mine came two years ago. The scores were locked at 2-2 and we gained a corner. Instead of being in the box, i decided to stay near the halfway line because my defenders had gone up for the corner.

The corner was kicked and it was hard and low. It hit a man and rolled away from the box. I saw my chance and ran towards it and hit the ball first time.

Like a missile it went straight to the top right hand corner, curving around the keeper who jumped to save it.

We celebrated like crazy but we then went on to lose the game 5-3

A right-footed volley from the edge of the penalty area off a corner, the ball sailed into the top corner. It wasn't in a competitive match or anything, though.

I was playing as a goalkeeper and the field was not very big, so I decided just to try to shoot once when I had the ball, just drop it down and kick it and....


... it went in!

We got a corner and I saw the ball heading towards me, so with a volley, I planted the ball into the roof of the goal

Mine was in indoor, we were playing the undefeated divsion 1 champs from outdoor and we cae in last place in divsion 1 in outdoor. I was playing LWM and the ball was on the right hand side, the RWM crossed the ball into the top of the box at the D, the forward flicked the ball to me at the corner of the 18, I one touch side-volley it far upper 90 and score, it wasn't blistering but it was well put, i also scored a tap-in goal off a corner kick in that game but we lose 4-3 on a controversial call.

Mine happened a while back. It was at school, I picked up the ball from the middle of the field and then I started to weave my way through the defense. When I got to the edge of the penalty area, I hit the ball low and hard. The gk couldn't do a damn thing, he tried to reach for it and punch it out but the ball was in the net by then. I scored another goal during the game and we won 4-1. Good times.

Maia Stadium here in Porto

my and my lads signed up with a small team, and before we knew it we had eliminated Salgueiros and Felgueiras, both federated teams

in the semi finals there was a free kick almost from half line (about 20 yards...) and i told them i'd take it... my friend joao vitor was staying near the ball with me and told me to shoot right at goal... we we're down 0-1, against a strong team, and almost at the end of the match

i took a final look at the goal, started my run and cracked it with all my strength, it went like a rocket, smashed the bar and went in.... unfortunatley we lost in penalties, but i score mine..

I usually score on my debut (except for my schools team ) and its usually a great goal.

One was a volley from outside of the penalty-box, straight into the top corner.

The other one was a shot from atleast 25meters that lobbed the keeper.

I scored a nice one last season, from about 30 yards out, left side of the pitch, on the half volley I just looped it in lol.

Scored a nice one tonight at training, was thru 1 on 1 with the keeper, he came sprintin out so i just flicked it over him lol. He was embaressed and everyone was like 'OHHHHHH RONNIEEE!' lol, all I did was ...

i remember that, your body was at a 90 degree angle dending over and it hit the back of your head.

I'm a keeper so i've not scored many times really. Once infact, from my own box. I booted the ball from the edge of my area, it landed in the other area, there keeper mis-judged the bounce and it went straight over him and bobbled into the net

The scores were tied 2-2 in the semi-finals and we had like 1 minute to go of regular time. My strike partner ran with the ball for quite some distance and did sort of a reverse elastico where the ball went inside then out instead of outside then in. I was right next to him, so I took the ball off him and chipped it into the top corner from the edge of the D at the top of the box. That was the winning goal, but we lost the final 3-2 the follwing week. I was so glad I ran half the length of the pitch with my shirt off

i have three that have just been the marqee goals i have scored, they all rank the same

1)i was in grade 11, and was playing for my high school team, we had a powerhouse team that year and i was playing with alot of talent around me. received a pass with my back directly facing the goal with a defender on my back, when the ball came to my foot i flicked it over my head and the defenders head, turned pushed off a bit, ran onto the ball with my first touch and volleyed it into the top corner after only one bounce. ill always remember that one cause we had a big crowd from our school


2)this goal came in indoor soccer with my premier club team. off a free kick from about 18 yards out, my defender who was on the ball for the free kick crossed it parallel to me and unbelieveable i volleyed it into the top right corner with my right foot. luckiest connection ive ever made but it was so sweet

3)this goal has the most meaning to me. it was a week after my nonna passed away and i had a provincial cup game for nationals. this was the day of her funeral(which was in the morning, and at night we had the game. it was simple, i took a corner and curled it in, kissed my indez finger and pointed to the sky, knowing she scored that goal with me. the thing is after i made contact i closed my eyes and thought of her, opened them and it went in

thats a bit like mine, i was sitting at the back post, and my volley went into the bottom corner.

another great goal i scored was in a school 5 a side tourny, i dribbled on the left wing and slammed it into the top corner with my left, which is my weaker foot.

oh yeh, and a bicycle kick at training once, it was a free kick on the edge of the box, the ball bounce against the wall and went high in the air, facing the wrong way, i did one and it went into the bottom corner.

Remember the van der Vaart goal with his heel against Feyenoord ? My best goal is simillar, only the difference is that VdV did it because he`s a brilliant player, while me was a fluke goal, I slipped It was durin` high school, my only goal throughout the year, back when I was younger and slimmer. Now, I`m a freakin` fat ass . . . I can`t even do split anymore.
