haha if you were talking to me it's kind of both ( but more so the opposition is weak). I actually live in Auckland, NZ (so you would know that it's not the hardest) level. the top coaches at my club want me to train with their teams to get experiance with the top players adn develop but i prefer to just kick it with my mates, so to speak. Recently though my finishing and to a lesser extent my dribbling has been absolutelty sh!t, my passing is better though.

Incidentally did anyone see the FA Cup round 2 goal by some exeter player? Chipped the keeper from 43 yards!

I was standing near half line, burnt 2 defenders, created space and shot.. it was faster than the speeding bullet and curved at the last moment when the goalie was confused and dove the wrong way.. it was amazing..

also a free kick from pretty far, it was about go outside when it curved like hell and went to the corner of the other side...

I scored an ace goal this past week wen i was playin against me mates.
The ball was kicked out by goalkeeper, as it came down i controled it very well as my mate came to tackle me i lifted it over him, i ran with the ball keeeping it in the air while running for a good 20 yards past my other mate, the goalie came out and i just lobbed him FANTASTIC! i was so pleased and i finished it of with a Klinsmann celebration

my best goal was in a normal league game, it was 1-1 and i picked up the ball, pretty near to the end of the match, on the left wing bout 10 yards in my own half, went about 1/2 pace down the wing, while the full back was alongside me, i stopped on the ball, angled my body to go forward again, so as the guy went to slide tackle mei chipped the ball over his foot, and then sprinted down the wing confronted the next defender, by this time i was on the corner of the box, a triple elastico, cut in in the same movement, and hit it with my right, and it went into the top corner of the opposite side of the goal, i tell u i went crazy after that, goal simply cus i got the elastico into the whole move aswell

My best goal? Well, my ONLY goal!

I am a goalkeeper, so i have an excuse for being excited about my one career goal. Last year when i played semi-pro, towards the end of a match i ran down the pitch, as it was going to be pretty much the last bit of action of the match. We were up 4-1, so there was nothing to lose. I ran down the middle of the field, and a teammate tried to pass or shoot or something, but it was deflected and came rolling right down the centre of the pitch, and into my path! I think i was something like 30-35 yards out. I kicked harder than i think i've ever kicked a ball, and somehow it landed about a yard to the left of the top-right corner, just under the crossbar. Of course i did what i always wanted to do: ran to the centre of the pitch did a foot first slide, stopped, and struck a GQ-esque pose to the sidelines.

I will never score another goal in my life I'm a referee now!

my greatest goal was in an indoor game i was playing in goals and i got bored cause it was a friendly so i dropped the ball did a step-over and beat one of the strikers ran it past another then i nutmegged a guy the keeper rushed out i played it to my friend he played it bak (it was a one-two aroudn the keeper and i ran into an open net and scored. But my best outdoor goal was i stole the ball off the midfielder did a 360 turn around a defender and after the second touch in the turn i just shot from about edge of the box it hit the underside of the crossbar and went in..........

Probably the one a few years back. I got a through pass from my strike partner and I went forward and 2 defenders caught me and stopped the ball at the edge of the area moved it to my right and hit it from there. Right top corner. Goalie had no chance.

Another one was a funny freak goal when I hit it from almost halfway line and the goalie got it to his head and it went in from there.

I have to goals in my memory...

The best, was on a corner... i stayed back, but i sneaked forward... that way i wasnt marked. I called the guy taking the corner who'd simply played it back to me... I chipped the so that it jumped a little in the air,, then vollyed the ball into the top corner.... The kick was so hard and surprising that their defender guarding the near post just lowered his head.... Man that was sweet.....

The other.... It was a youth match... i play as a winger... i was running with the ball.... came over the half way line... 10 yards past the halfway line... and out on the sideline i see the keeper is out.... i fired.... and the ball sailed into the top corner

i have three great goals that come to mind

1. It was a real cracker from about 35-38 yards out and went right into the left upright coner( it was not that special since the team was the worst in the league and we won like 13-0

2. of from a coner i lost my marker and was clean on goal and hit a beautiful diving header in the box

3. a Great chip fom my CM then i caught it on my chest and hit an ever so classic bycyle kick, my one and only i ever did and prob will ever do, i always fear about landing wrong

the best goal i scored was when i was playing in a very small place and there was a outside, so i threw the ball to the goalkeeper and he tried to catch it but it was in great force so the ball hit on his hand and went in to the goal.
another good goal was when there was a penalty kick and he hit the ball and it was a great header by me and it went straight in to the goal.

It was either my last goal to date (4 years a go) left foot volley, edge of the area, flew right into the corner, we losst the game 4-2 though.


Or running to the by-line crossed it it, and it flew straight into the top corner. Only two goals i can actually remember though

I scored my teams goal #200 last season. Just put it between the goalkeepers legs. Kinda cool.

We had a goaldifference by 200-20 =). Our playing manager scored over 70 goals. Norwegian 6th division. WE ROCK!
