The cartoon with Riley and Huey? If so, yeah that's a solid show. I can't really figure out the philosophy of the creator; he just sort of lampoons everything.

Love that show, I actually own the season 1 DVD, which is great. Season 2 has been ok, but it's nowhere near the quality of the first season. I can't help but feel that they tackled all the big social issues in the first season and now they're just sorta clutching at straws a bit to find topics to cover for the newer episodes.

Yeah, i sort of feel the same way shinji, as if they ran out of great ideas. Still worse the half hour watching it. The very first episode with the party was the best in my opinion. The story of gangstalicious where they mimmicked MTV Cribs was quite funny too. Funny how they also threw in the "writer's strike" in the story of catcher freeman.

I thought this season's Hurricane Katrina related episode was pretty controversial, but kinda said what a lot of people are thinking.

yeah, that and the fact that they showed there are some people who are just lazy and look to take advantage of a crisis situation to get a bigger hand-out.

I love The Boondocks, I've seen the first season. The white dudes that act black are pretty damn funny. I think one is Charley Murphy's voice. Unfortunately I work evenings now, so I haven't seen the second season yet. There's other ways to see them of course, I've just been lazy.

yeah, Ed and Gin Rummy are Charlie Murphy and Samuel L. Carlos*son voiceovers. I guess Gin Rummy is supposed to be a satirical version Donald Rumsfeld.

the Let's Nab Oprah episode with those guys from season 1 is classic

Great show, a lot of subtle nuances and profound social points combined with top class humour.
