I've been reading for hours, and I figured I'd give thi a try.
I'm operating in Vista. I downloaded Net Framework v2.0, I inserted my disc in my laptop and I get this error. Can anyone help?

I guess you have not FIFA 08 properly installed in your laptop. Opening with the "open FIFA 08" menu you need to have it installed. If you have a copy of FIFA 08 files on your laptop you can edit them using "Open select all" and choosing the main FIFA 08 folder, the main database and the language database.

i have cep for fifa 2008, i want to add 3 tournaments recopa sudamericana, ( winner of libertadores and copa sudamericana), copa del japon (winner of copa sudamericana and winner of japon cup) and torneo de verano( the five great teams in argentina league play a tournament i summer) i created them but the dont appear in carreer mode, why?? torneo the verano for instance is not related to argentinean league , thanks and good luck

Rinaldo, first of all CM 08 is brilliant!, could you explain me how could i create a cmp patch with the recent Jomi´s roster, i want to apply this patch so i don´t lose all the changes that i have made with cm 08 (gk kits, fonts, shoes, etc.) in my current db file.

I have tried to do it by myself but after i select player under "object selection" and cm 08 load the list i press the "add" button and it seems to be doing something but after several minutes cm 08 seems to be frozen.

any insight on this would be great, thanks in advance!

I've assigned Tigres the Generic Olympic stadium. However when I play in manager mode they play in the Generic Square Oval. If I try quickplay it shows the correct stadium as their home stadium.

make sure you've changed the stadium for Tigres in both Creation master AND manager Master. Hopefully that will clear things up.

Just checked in Manager Master and it's set as generic olympic there too.

This is a problem with the lanuage database. Be sure you are editing the same db that you are playing with. Make a double check of its content using the DbMaster and verify if the strings related with your countries are there or not. Often a problem with one country has effect also with the countries shown after the wrong one but the problem is only one.

i checked the langauge files and copied the correct one (with lucky was my language - brazilian) over the others.
That fix the problem of team names not showned ingame.

After this i imported new teams and then FIFA crashes when i click to enter the game.

Could you please help me?

Rinaldo how can I solve this?I added 3rd kits and 3 of the teams' names are Fiorentina in Fan Shop,but not Fiorentina are their names in menu,only in Fan Shop show like Fiorentina!

In Manager mode the generic stadiums get replaced by a stadium appropriate for the level of your stadium manager, I believe

First check the "Appears in career", then be sure that the tournament id is lower than 96. Only tournaments with id lower than 96 will appear in career the first year. Otherwise they will appear starting from the second season.

I suggest to create a patch for each league (or each team if you prefere)
In the patch options select:
For League:
Database league info
Linked Teams
unselect the others

For Team
Database team info
Linked Players
unselect the others

For Players
Database player info
unselect the others


In the object selection select Leagues, choose yor leagues, click the Add button and finally the "Create the Patch"

Using DbMaster take a look to the rewards table of fifa.db, probably the problem is there.

Hello everrybody. I think that CM 08 is fantastic. I transformed one existing league (i.e. Turkish One) into Italian 3rd Div. with the Turkish teams into italian teams with new players. Everything works fine, even ad boards. CM 08 gave me non errors at all. I have version 1.02 The problem is that now I cannot play any tournaments because after starting a new one and saving it, it is impossible to play again because FIFA 08 crashes as soon as I open that tournament.

I saved all my work into a league patch. Is there anything I can do other than trying to reinstall FIFA?

Thank you in advance and I apologise If this problem was already dealt with. I did not find anything regarding it in thìs thread.

Well Rinaldo thanks for all your kindness mate, i did as you told me, at the moment of applying the league patches i´ve created i found that some of the players in the lists appeared like if they have to be created but i know they´re already in the old roster, is this bug or i have to pay attention and deal with this manually? this also happened with the czech league who was shown like if it has to be created.

Other thing is that after i apply some leagues for testing the results some hidden players like Khalilou Fadiga who is playing now for a belgium club appear with a generic face and not with the ea one, it seems that maybe the league patches have to be created with the faces and minifaces included.

any insight about the previous would be very appreciated.
