Holding back the development? Players develop themselves at their clubs, then when they are good enough they play for the National Team, if he needs to develop in the national team then he's clearly not good enough yet. Ok, he needs the experience of playing for England but he's getting that at the moment just being in the England set-up and coming on as a sub.Kiwi land;2277500 said:They are not going to win any thing in the future, when Gary is holding back the development of a talented 19 year old RB.

He definately offers something different to Gary, but Gary is by far the better option and i'd still rate him as one of the best right-backs in the world.

i dont want to be disrespectful or anything but it doesnt take a world class player to score against them does it? especially not when you're playing next to rooney and co.
They haven't qualified yet, so would you not put out your best team to qualify for the finals first of all?Kiwi land;2277500 said:They are not going to win any thing in the future, when Gary is holding back the development of a talented 19 year old RB.
You can only score against the teams you face. He got the job done, yet you still bash him.1966+2006;2277469 said:bent perhaps. but no, i dont know why we're wasting our time with crouch, who did he score against for england? trindidad+t, jamaica, hungary, macedonia?
