This really sucks for the neutral fans, like myself.

Millions of neutrals around the world support England at these major tournaments. Millions just like to be able to discuss the make-up of the England team for big tournament games, esp. knockout stage games. England tournament fixtures draw large TV audiences...not just in England but worldwide. Oh, and boring or not, personally, I just like watching a collection of stars, that I normally see ONLY in the EPL, on the same pitch playing for the same team....the possibilities for such a team are endless.

You won't get sh=t in terms of an audience for Croatia-Poland....no disrespect intended towards those squads. Overall, ANY tournament is better with England IN it!!! You;d be a fool to say otherwise and must surely NOT be talking sensibly....rather just arrogantly...that's ok given that you are probably 11.

Oh and BTW, when was the last hooligan problem with England (to those people bashing England fans attending games recently).....what was the most recent date of crowd violence? Come on....tell me the date..........I'd REALLY like to know!!!!!!!

And, dismissing chances of winning a tournament is not a good enough excuse for not qualifying for the tournament.....certainly N.O.T ... F.O.R. ... E.N.G.L.A.N.D. IF they can fire Sir Alf Ramsey in 1973, they can sure as hell can this clown.

The people who tune in to watch because it's England.....do you think they;ll be watching....but for a small fraction,....NO! The tournament will suffer....it will go on, but it will suffer where it wouldn't have had England gone through. Sure you'll get fans from those countries (involved in the game) supporting and watching...even a few surrounding countries. People from those countries, who knew the last name of the Croatia player who scored the winner, will tune in to watch but it will be confined to a section of Europe and immigrants to other continents. It will be NOTHING compared to what a tournament like this would be able to draw, worldwide, with England just because they....are....E.N.G.L.A.N.D.

BTW, I'm talking about worldwide interest and the related TV audience and how it's NOW going to suffer drastically....i'm not spitting, arrogantly(apparently, as per some post above) or otherwise, on fans who would be cheering at the end of the qualifying campaign because it was successful for them.

Not likely, however his chances of getting another opportunity are very slim at this point. He blew it but i wont make him the lone factor on this catastrophe. The players are overrated. I mean Lamps and Gerrard are good for their clubs but they cannot co-exist. Crouch is well he is Crouch. Rooney is a brainless retard that has talent to sell but zero intelligence whatsoever. The defense is shaky. There are only JT and Rio worth saving. The others are below average. hargreaves and Becks are ironically the best players in that squad. And than it is the everlasting goalkeeping problem.

England needs to do what France did after that 1996 and what Germany did after 2000 and that is REBUILDING. They need a coach that can handle the media like Mourinho did, they need to protect the players a lot more from the media circus as well.

Truth be told the Brits can blame their system ONLY for this defeat.
