Fergie will be around for some more years, after that I wouldn't mind Solskjaer at all. He trained our reserves for few years and after going back to Molde he won the norwegian league in his first season. And Molde finished 11th before the season before. He's also probably one of the most loyal of guys we'd get.
Although Fergie had almost 20 years of managerial career on his back before coming to United, he managed St. Mirren and Aberdeen. At the moment I'd rate Tippeligaen stronger than the SPL.

Not the Scottish league back then. Winning the league with Aberdeen and then winning in Europe was a huge feat.
Like I said, I have an issue with most managers because they're successful for "smaller clubs".
It's a bit like Robin Dutt at Leverkusen. Everybody hates the guy because Lev are not challenging for the title or even CL spots. Many expected him to do well because he made Freiburg into a midtable team (which is quite impressive). The problem is though that many managers can't step up because they're handling a completely different situation. As opposed to being happy with a mediocre finish, near perfection is suddenly expected.

Benayoun is complete ****, though. They need someone to connect the midfield to the attach, something which Arteta and Rosicky are having a hard time doing because they're busy helping Song. Walcott is his usual, useless, very pacey self. There's no support to RVP, really.
