Make America Great Again
I've noticed a lot of teams have started to press City, which Klopp was really the first person to do against Pep, and it became the standard in Germany.

Tottenham are just very good when they're on their groove. Great for them. Really nice to see the guardiola groove come crashing to a halt, United will be furious they dropped points now.

United dropping points shouldn't happen, but regarding City, them missing De Bruyne who's an incredible player is surely leaving a mark on them whenever he isn't playing.

Also Spurs have done quite well so far without Kane, which is basically plus points to Pocchetino who knew how to add necessary depth and get the most out of Son.

No you're not.

Who will you think? We have a pretty well balanced squad with no apparent holes compared to even City despite them having a better striker. Their defending isn't good enough and neither is their central midfield. Mou with Man Utd but their squad is still finding their feet and it would take some time to define a new working identity.

The Wenger factor and if he can get them over the finishing line is the only major question. But he seems to be brave and innovative again this season while we win games regardless of whatever even in the very last second.

Kos whether you admit or not is the best and most important player atm. Absolute warrior. I was right when I said he should be made captain. Whether its defending and playing the silent game letting Mustafi do the aggressive tackling or doing it himself while patrolling the defense or coming out of the back to play line breaking passes and scoring crucial goals. He has been sensational. It was noticeable at the Euros with how he played with his positioning and playing the leader of the defense.

There are a few CBs atm that are world class. Boateng, Godin, Koscielny, Terry, Pepe, Pique, Barzagli and Bonnuci. Rest of them are good or very good players partnering them.

Arsenal always seem to be winning the league at some point every single season but they always somehow manage to screw up.

No offence but my beloved Swansea almost beat Arsenal again Saturday. Swansea have been awful this season. Swansea are, are at the moment, rubbish defensively so Arsenal were gifted 3 goals (have you seen them?). If Barrow can terrorize Arsenals defence, they are not that good. Haha.

It's between the current top 4 for me. All have their strengths & weaknesses. Liverpool vs Utd will be interesting tonight.

Yes, I've seen and exactly my point. Whether we play well-Chelsea, Basel- or not-Swansea, Burnley, Southampton- we still win. Good fortune is a good thing.

@Nady- Thats true and we can't let our guard slip for that reason but we've never had a rounded squad like this at other times. I'm upbeat about this season for this and after the transfer window to keep no holes in the squad.

I like how we have two very good, WC,potential WC or good players for every position with high experience and at a good age with a young talent behind them.

Teams more likely than Arsenal to win the league this season: man Utd, man city, Tottenham, Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Leciester, Southampton, Watford, hull

You could've just said anybody but Arsenal and Bournemouth. Confirmation of unusual hatred.

I think Terry is WC still in stuff that doesn't mostly depend on his body. Hazard and Tortoise are world class.

True, it was a fucking dire match.

Arnau we've bascially looked like this ever since SAF retired. The team lacks a proper charisma that we used to have back in the Fergie days. So far United have had what? Moyes, Giggs (temporarily), LVG and now Mourinho. The word I was looking for was identity. I'd say it's still early days to judge us right now. The players are gelling and Mourinho still hasn't found the right system yet, especially when it comes down to getting the best out of Pogba. Truly I'd say that we lack a quality DM. Carrick-esque. I'd love if we tried to go after Bruno Soriano in January, but something like this seems very unlikely. He shouldn't cost that much, but I don't think he has his eyes set on leaving The Yellow Submarine. Fantastic player, Busquets like.. You cannot get a better DM for value right now from anywhere, but truth be told I suppose even Villarreal seem to be doing better than us at the moment, especially with Bakambu coming back as well.

Anyway it would be wiser to look at the team in December, I think.

I wonder if people would be saying stuff like this about Pogba had he cost like 20 million euros. It's a team game, what do you want from the guy? To decide every match on his own just because he cost 100m? He's slowly adapting and Mourinho hasn't found the perfect system yet. Also I think United would look far better should Mkhitaryan finally get fit and find his Dortmund form..

Martial has been really underwhelming so far this season too.. Some personal issues in his life I believe plus injuries.

Pogba at his best will become like Yaya Toure at his best I think. Him costing 100 m does not mean he will have to score all the goals and make all the assists. He is playing central midfield. He is not going to have the same goalscoring impact as players similarly priced like Bale or Ronaldo. If you ignore his price tag, I think he's been pretty decent. He is still young and will probably be here for years. His price tag will eventually pay off. He is also a highly marketable player.
