He is a good player afforded zero opportunity

He was basically a starter from the beginning of the season but was god awful and then got injured as usual. He doesn't do much and Joel who Wenger seems to have something against has produced far more than Ox. Is he talented? well, he is strong, good power dribbling, can shoot but his head is mostly down, hasn't much vision and horrendous decision making. Awful movement and off the ball play too.

But have to admit he should be further higher in his development had he been at another club and on the left wing where he has a better view of what's up. Not for lack of opportunites, though. And he is all big time off the pitch but hides on it, usually.

Poet assessment is accurate.

Basically no difference between Ox and Andros Townsend except Townsend played for a manager who was self aware enough to recognize failure and cash in

Team Captain
.............Kane
Sterling Rooney Sturridge (if fit)
.........Alli....Henderson
Shaw...Stones..Smalling...Clyne
..............Hart

I put Rooney there because he is one of the few who can play as a playmaker. Other than 2004, he's been shit for major tournaments though so Barkley probably deserves it more than him. I still think Rooney is a better playmaker to play off the main striker.

That's pretty potent but you essentially have three people there who think they are they key man striker a could potentially get in each other's way. I like the idea of an Eric dier shield of the defence, I already think he's better than Barry ever was, he's like Hargreaves but not made of glass

Good point but doesn't mean it won't work out. This strike force is better than MSN.

I remain firmly convinced that Henderson, Dier, and Alli is the best possible midfield for England. The front 3 is obviously Sterling, Kane, and someone else. The team picks itself really. Wouldn't even bring old Wayne along.

The Von Trapps
I like the look of an England 4-4-2 with Stones, Barkley, Sterling, Kane and Vardy ... Rashford doing a Kluivert impression as a supersub ... if Arnau hasn't already said it at some point: England EURO Champions ...

All the EPL fans enjoying Leicester, West Ham, and Spurs finishing so high might regret it if they get knockout early from Europe next year. Could cause a large coefficient point loss.
fairytale, and then more time to focus on the only league that matters ... sounds like a win-win ...

The amount of talent in French NT is ridiculous too, i hope they are not stupid enought to drop Benzema... France always self-destructs him.

Croatia is another interesting team.
