The big Euro clubs are already represented in the game, so that's a non-issue. Therefore not liking "euro footy" has nothing to do with the question of whether to add Scottish versus African lower tier teams. Me, I don't care one way or the other, I'm just pointing out the difference between personal bias versus logic when making these decisions. I suggested adding the Scottish leagues because the kits are already all done, therefore there's a much better chance those leagues will actually get finished, more than the African leagues anyway. Logical and practical.

In this, I think there is huge bias and a good reason. I don't like European football that much, but there are way more European leagues in the game than every other continent. I'm Just trying to even the balance.

I'll put the Chinese super league on the list. Head's up everyone that my playtime is about to dramatically decrease. The fastest way to get your leagues made is as follows:

1. Get me a list of URLs in an excel doc that correspond to each player.
Or
2. Develop a spreadsheet with the rosters in it. Follow the formatting I described before.
Or
3. Learn to use roster maker 15 and you too can quickly make your own leagues too!

Question for the group. I did some testing regarding which countries could be used in the game without crashing manager mode. There are many that appear to be usable, however a problem arises. The global transfer network basically doesn't work anymore. A scout will scout their home country and that's about it. Scouts who aren't specifically assigned to a country will be available to go anywhere, but they don't stay there and keep scouting.

My question, how many people use the global transfer network? How many care if we intentionally break it?

My personal thought is that I can live without it because we can always search our own data outside of the game to get the names we want to scout, then we can just send the scouts individually to go look at their current progress.

Considering I can make all needed graphics and do database work practical and logical doesn't matter to myself.

I am a fan of CONCACAF and CONMEBOL football and so is the thread creator.

There is already enough EURO football in the game and we don't need anymore.

CONCACAF is a major goal. I think I will do those Asian leagues requested next just because they asked first and we do need some more Asia overall. Tons of users from there.

If I decided to get a web crawler and your tool I could do them myself.

Yeah. I think that's the way this needs to go. I spotted another problem with my tool today though. I need to try to fix that this weekend and reupload. Right now you're stuck with version 1 which often duplicates names and then players (you input 20, it returns 35 where one guy gets repeated over and over again) or version 2 which won't let you define your base tables. Uhg.

I think I know what's wrong though. If I'm right, it should be a 20 minute fix.

Anyway, CONCACAF should be a big priority. Was mostly just saying I agree.

One other option if people don't want to shell out for a web crawler is to use google table capture. It is way less reliable and you have to do much more by hand. But when it works, it works just about perfectly. It's also free.

I just added a first combined patch (ELP v1) to the first post. Getting all of those to work properly was way more work than just making a league from scratch. But, that gives us a good baseline for future editing. There's 16 leagues and all the tournaments work. Now, go add all the pretty features and tournaments. Please follow the naming convention I suggested if you reupload a new version.

For sure! I will say this though, my major goals are going to be getting content released and making it as stable as possible. I'm counting on the community to build the depth and believability. So, you may need to help me by tweaking these things and reuploading your fixes. We should be building off of one another's work. Hence the importance of the naming convention.
