John: How'd you make that effect in the background? Nice sh*t... Although the text is kinda dark

Juan: Nice work, but try adding something in that big white spot between the left side and the guy... Looks too empty

thanx for the compliments:) and i was thinkging of adding text there, but as a background its not Dead whit space, it can easily bu taken up by icons arrainged nicely, or as part of a website bacground where text goes there ;), but im adding some text right now, just cant seem to make it look right

Putting desktop icons there is a pretty clever idea :o I know what you mean with the text ruining it... It can be annoying to never be able to get it just right :crazyboy:

It was a tutorial I got from Deviantart. Here's how you do it-

Open up a new document, any size, and with a White background. I chose 400x400.

Go to Filter>Render>Clouds

Then go to Image>Adjust>Auto-Levels (ctrl+shift+L)

Then you have to change the Hue/Saturation. Image>Adjust>Hue/Saturation (ctrl+U)
Check the box marked 'Colorize' and change the settings to whatever you like.
I used these settings: Hue:200 Saturation: 55 Lightness: -15

Next you need to find the edges. Go to Filter>Stylize>Find Edges

Invert the image. Ctrl+I

Don't worry if it's too dark, it's supposed to be like that.
To fix it just go to Image>Adjust>Auto-Contrast (ctrl+alt+shift+L)

If you want to add one tiny bit more, go to Filter>Blur>Blur.
That will make it look like it's in a microscope that's slightly out of focus, and at this level they usually are.
