I'm having some problems with the game fifa 06. i 've been playing the game since it came out but in the past month a wasn't able to complet a match because the game stalls and the images freezes during matches. Is it a driver related problem? If it is why didn't I have that problem in the beggining?
i haven't instaled any new software on my computer so why does this happen? i've ran 2 diferent anti spyware programs and antivirus and there's nothing wrong with the computer.

system properties:
windows xp 2002 service pack 2
pentium 4 3,60 GHz
1,00 GB RAM
ATI Radeon 9250 version 6.14.10
direct X 9.0c

i want to play the game but i don't know how to solve this problem.
Does any one know?

Need help

I've reinstalled the game and the only patch that i installed was the oficial EA patch. i simply don't know what is wrong since i've already played the game with no problems. It's really annoying when something like this happens!
Could it be a heat related problem? my pc crashed down one time but i was only running word and excel so it probably didnt get this bug from that. But what do you think?

i didn't upgrade them because the game used to work fine with the version i have now, but it might be my next move. This problem is so weird. The in match menu also frezees 5 min into game time. I can only play for 5 minutes or so and then everything stops and i have to reboot the system.

You could have a heat problem. Do you have good ventilation in your case? Any dust? You can try a program like Motherboard Monitor to see what your temps are. Also, try opening the PC case and point a small fan directly at the video card while you play. If the freezes stop, then that may point to heat problems.
