One day, many moons ago, God did look down on earth from his throne on high and decided to show us humans what humour really meant. For He had thought of the greatest post in the history of the universe, the funniest thing the world had ever seen. And He did look down and select a vessel through which He would allow His divine humour to flow, and He did come across a random Scotsman called Gavin Chalmers, and the idea did please Him and God did chuckle. And hence it came to pass that God placed, for one glorious moment, all His powers of wit and comedy into this one man's human mind and low, the Cheese Cracker post was born. Long may it live in our memory. Long may it live in our hearts.
