P-?, NONE

I just checked out USC recruites, :|

They seriously have the top recruit at every position, well maybe not but seriously...they will be conteding for ever if they keep recruiting like this.

Florida is currently ranked Top-10 for the next season. :)

Our top recruits:
CB-Avery Atkins
QB-Josh Portis
RB-Tony Right

...Last year, Florida was ranked 2nd in recruiting. I don't know what they're ranked this year w/ this class but to me it looks pretty damn good!

Little early to be making this thread, no?

Yeah, USC got some good recruits although I'm pissed DeSean Carlos*son (think that was his name) went to Cal instead of staying near home (went to Long Beach Poly). Meh, his loss I guess.

Have you been smoking weed with ronnifan? :(

hehe, obviously I think USC will 3-peat but I wouldn't be surprised if someone beat us to it. Tennessee had a hell of a recruiting class so yeah, they could very well be in it.

I've always wanted to see us play USC.

Again it will depend on the maturity of our quarterbacks.

Well, since the season is about to start in a couple of weeks, I thought it would finally be appropriate to bring back this thread. USC had a scrimmage today and my cousin invited me to go along so I went. It was the first team versus the second team and the first teamers won 50-16 with the 2nd team getting there points right at the end of the game.

Our offense looked pretty good and we ran the ball more earlier on with both LenDale White and The President having 2 great touchdown runs (White's was for 75 yards while Bush left everyone lying on the ground for a 25 yard run). If Bush doesn't win the Heisman he'll definitely be in the top 5 again, the guy was just sick with some of the stuff he pulled off. He returned a 57 yard punt for a TD while losing everyone yet again only for it to be brought back because of a holding penalty.

Leinart did very well also, showing no signs of elbow problems after having some surgery several months back. If there's anything that worries me, its whether the loss of Norm Chow to the NFL will have some sort of negative effect but based on what I saw today and what I've read, we'll be fine. Also, look out for Patrick Turner, a 6'5'' freshman that Pete recruited from Tennessee, this guy can play. He had some great catches, uncluding a diving catch on a pass that looked like it was going to go past him.

First team defense looked great, which surprised me a bit considering we lost the heart of the line (Patterson and Cody) and lost our 2 best linebackers (Tatupu and Grootegoed). The new kicker sucks pretty bad, he booted about 3 kickoffs out of bounds and missed about a 39 yarder short by about 3 yards. (:/) Other than that, I think we could be in for another good season, hopefully ending with the 3-Peat in Pasadena.

That guy is real. I can't believe he went to USC. He had his mind set on them. :kader:

I think if Ainge performs well at QB and if the secondary holds Tennessee will be in the National Title game.

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long
Yellow Card
Ohio State will probably win the Big 10 with Iowa 2nd and Mighigan 3rd. NT game should be a good one. But this will finally be the year when Mack Brown beats Oklahoma in the Red River shootout! (C) ....it' s been a while since he last won the tilt.

Will be interesting to see how close to 8-0 (Willingham started with this record) the Fighting Irish get under Charlie Weiss.

I've got the same feeling too but I won't believe it until I see it for myself, this is certainly Texas' best shot though.

Texas @ O$U early in the season should be a great matchup, College Football is too damn arbitrary why don't they just have a friggin playoff.........

I think Texas is going to win the Red River Shootout every year, and then.... they get blown out 50-6 or something like that. Wasn't it low scoring last year, like 12-0?

I don't see Ohio State winning the Big Ten, they have no offense at all and Ted Ginn Jr., as sweet as he is, isn't winning all those games himself; I'm pegging Michigan to win it as I do every year with Iowa finishing second.

The ACC is pretty open, but I see either FSU or VT winning it unfortunately no National Title contenders this year. I'm proud to say that
12. Louisville (1) 0-0 892
the first place vote for the Ville was by the writer here at Raleigh's News and Observer, dude's a nut.

Alright, I'm now gonna try and predict the conferences (for those w/ championship games, I'll pick who's gonna win that):

ACC: Miami defeats Boston College
Big East: Louisville
Big 10: Ohio State
Big XII: Oklahoma defeats whoever emerges from the weak-as-a-kitten North
Conference USA: Memphis defeats UTEP
MAC: Bowling Green defeats Toledo
Mountain West: Utah
Pac 10: USC
SEC: Florida defeats LSU
Sun Belt: North Texas
WAC: Boise State
