Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has targeted becoming the most successful manager in the club's history. Benitez hopes the first of his trophies will come with a win over AC Milan in the Champions League final on 25 May. I'd be satisfied if he achieves half of what Paisley achieved... hehe, seriously though, I think he can do it... our Euro form this year has been fantastic and I think he only needs a bit of time to master the english football

Off the top of my head he is 22 and was a Barcelona youth before being sold to Villareal. Apparently has saved an amazing 10 from 12 penalties this season along with somethingh like 25 or 26 clean sheets or so.

Hyppia, Dudek, Gerrard and Hamann...after tonight, I will miss them if they leave.

As for the Czechmates, Baros and Smicer, what a great way to end their time with the REDS, but it probably was time to move on.

well, I'm not a fan of Liverpool and I always rub it in to you p00l fans when you get embarassed or get defeated in a crucial match but congrats. Wow, I never ...... ever thought this would happen. wow ....... just wow ... I'm just lucky that it was AC Milan and not Real Madrid who was the victim.

taking Gerrard from Liverpool wouldn't be right. as much as i want him to play for Madrid, he still bleeds Liverpool and it would be like someone taking Raúl away from Madrid. (horrible thought)

man the best match i watched all my life!!!!!
the comeback of the history!!!!!

it started very very bad,with 1 min-1 goal. Then , hand ball not given agaist Nesta...afterthat 2 cruel goals!!!! I thought this was gameover...total humiliation...was telling myself what the hell we are doing in the final...

Then,second half, fabulous Gerrard's header.This was the start of the ze COMBACK Then Smicer and then penalty!!!wooo!!!!!!!!!!! 6mins-3 goals!!!! Dudek was very unsure in goal...but in last min of extra time,he did a miraculous double save.. then in penalty he was the hero.. All liverpool players gave everything they had...

Gerrard was certainly man of match(attack defend what a player!!!) but we all played superbly well!!!! wat a performance!!!!!!

I was so nervous with penalties...we missed so much penalties this and last season...

Hamann's apearence in second half was the key for the comeback i think.... Alonso and Hamann played defensively leaving Gerrard the liberty to go forward...that paid off..very good reaction by Rafa!!!!!!!!!!
