What on earth? That's so crazy it could work!

Anyway. We have £30 million from winning the CL, plus we will probably get £10-15 million from sponsership. We are also European champions, and therefore a good club to join: Who will we sign this summer?

Don't forget bonus payments, that always takes away a large chunk of prize money. I think Liverpool were screwed over last time they won 3 trophies, losing most of their prize money to bonus payments.

Also unless CL football is secured then Liverpool becomes slighty less attractive to join. However with Gerrard staying and Rafa showing his skills I think it makes up for non-CL football should that happen.

OMG I can't believe it! I just got back from Morocco (school trip) and I watched the game there. I started watching it in my hotel with some mates, at half time I was virtually in tears and we went 2 a bar 2 drown my sorrows away, ended up having one hell of a celebration! What a fu*king win!

Cant describe how I feel

Today Reina talked to the press (cause he have been called for Spanish NT for 1st time!) and said that he is almost leaving Villareal to join Liverpool, not oficially done, but really close.

Do you think thats good for Liverpool knowing the last perfomance of Dudek?

dudek was actually really sh1tty the whole game until extra time, he couldnt hold onto the ball, it hit off his knees, his chest, it was terrible to watch. It suprised me when he actually started to save some.

TNS offered Liverpool a playoff for thier CL spot (1st qualifying round, but a spot nonetheless)

The Welsh FA turned it down.

They can' t afford to lose (and they would be destroyed) their ownly CL spot.

Remember the FA had a section on their site stating that if Arsenal or Chelsea went on to win the CL and finished outside the top 4 in the Premier League they would be re-entered into the CL at the expense of the team that finished 4th? Which was us at the time of course, and they had the cheek to remove that page from their website as Liverpool progressed further through the competition this year knowing that there was a chance we'd fail to finish 4th. Bit a of a joke really.

Ullo my fellow Kings of Europe :ewan:

Topping 50 hours now without sleep. Mugged in Turkey, fought, bloodied, won. Great match, almost broken at halftime, cried, died, fought, bloodied, resurrected, triumphant, cried again. Even better homecoming parade. Tons of clips and piccies and most precious of all, the memories, oh the memories. Money cant buy these.

Lennart Johannsen, the head of Uefa wants us in. The sponsors want us in. AC Milan want us in. Michel Platini wants us in. Even the bitters want us in.

So barring an outbreak of incredible stupidity, we will be in.

Kings of Europe.

Owen has no regrets for Real deal

Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen says he is not jealous of his old team-mates after their incredible Champions League triumph on Wednesday.

Owen left Anfield to join Spanish side Real Madrid last summer in an £8m deal.

"You can't keep looking back and second-guessing decisions like my move to Real Madrid," he told The Times.

"People will say my timing for leaving was suspect but how was I to know that Liverpool were about to go on the most incredible run to the final?"

He added: "Who knows if they would have got to the final if I was leading the attack or if I would have done things differently from Milan Baros.

"There are so many turning points but now that they have come good I am thrilled for some of my old colleagues such as Stevie Gerrard, Didi Hamann and Jamie Carragher.

"I hope it does kick-start a great new era for Liverpool."
