Like Shifty said, pitchers and catchers are already reporting for spring training so its time to start a new thread for the new season.

Who's going to run the fantasy league this season? I'll do it again if no one is up for it, of course with changes to the categories used in the scoring. :fool:

Ok, now that we got that out of the way, I don't exactly remember what problems there were with the league specifically, but I'm sure they are on the front few pages of the Fantasy League Thread.

Well, one of the main ones was counting runs on pitching but not earned runs which I admittedly fucked up badly on. My only main concern is having people active; I worried about it last year and there were probably only about 4-5 people who were really active throughout. Still plenty of time to figure this all out.

I really like those stat categories, I think that will work. Last year we definitely didn't include OPS or WHIP which I think are probably necessary.

We were .500 last year!! And of course I say it every year, just like how I start off caring about baseball until August, but you gotta be optimistic. And the Crew are clearly a team on the rise.

Just one more year till the youngens get here...or two. I'm talking about all the kids that Lake Elsinore (single A) is producing, specially the last 2 years. One example: Josh Barfield, and believe me I wan't to say more but their not sure-in's to make the ballclub this year.

I think the Padres are just buying time really. I just realized it. (C)

I've been stoked for the Brewers prospects for 3 years, and many of them still aren't up in the majors. When it comes to minor league prospects, it just takes FOREVER. Thanks to stuff like Baseball America you hear about these kids so early that you're almost already disappointed by the time they make the majors because it's taken so long, when in reality it takes just about everyone that long.

REALLY can't wait to see Delmon Young up in the show hopefully this year for the Rays.

Just bought 4 tickets (me and my homies) to the WBC Championship game. We're taking Mexican flags so we can wrap our selves in them...even if Mexico don't make it, we still wanna represent. (H) (Left Field Lower Boxes)(Y)

I was hoping to see Dominican Republic kill the US team in the final. The Dominican team looks good so far, but no Vlad Guerrero. :(

Watching this game (DR vs. Ven), and it's hilarious to hear the fans say "coño, hijo de puta" and the commentator say some retarded sh*t like..."the fans look very animated, they're having alot of fun" :| (H)

EDIT: I just saw a fan wearing a Juventus jersey in the crowd. (DR vs. Ven)

heh, yeah. I'd like to see how he could explain that happening.

Mexico lost to the US yesterday 2-0 (why is it that when we lose to them, its always 2-0). I'm actually surprised that we were able to hang in there with them as our pitching was pretty damn solid. The US' pitching was just too good though but this only reassures my thought that we'll come out of the group in second behind the US.

EDIT: Oh yeah, who's Pape Sow in the fantasy league? I'm just wondering.
