but the more interesting news regarding PSG comes from, where else, Italy: rumours have it that Rudi García is being looked at as a potential Laurent Blanc replacement, in case PSG decide to go that route ... I'd love to see it ...

Asking clubs who are deemed to have used financial doping to pay a fine sounds to me like asking for a bribe not to sanction them properly. Those punishments aren't nearly as harsh as I had hoped. Wage bill cannot increase does not mean it has to decrease and having to sell before they can buy sounds very vague.

21 spots for the CL is pretty rough when you consider 8 have to be homegrown. And I'm not clear on what "have to sell before you can buy" really means. If you can't purchase for more than you sell, they're more or less fucked.

21 is just 4 less than everyone else. It's an inconvenience, it's not that big a deal. I had hoped for expulsions from European competition.

It's a big deal when you don't have many homegrown players. Let's say PSG only has 6 HGs worthy of a CL spot, well now you're down to effectively 19 players which is barely enough to make a starting XI and a bench. I would expect PSG to sign a huge wave of young French players in the next year.

I think PSG are being punished because they threaten to take the limelight from the regular big boys of the CL. Atletico were already punished and City will probably be too

OR they're being punished because they blatantly disregarded the rules. If you'd said FFP as a whole I'd agree but the fact that these clubs are being punished is completely deserved.
