got deservedly bounced out in 4th position....played like a totally dumb bitch near the end when I had a commanding chip lead over third and fourth.....my end game is extremely atrocious, man.......i'll sit there for an hr for the perfect hand/scenario, then get it, and then proceed to piss it all away in the hand after that with something completely retarded and revolting, man......WTF?

grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I see you've finally got into the real money games. Good for you, and a nice way to start things is win something. OF course, that was nothing too big, but always a good start for increasing your bankroll.

hehe, thnx, bro. This is technically a freeroll for me since it's money that I've gotten by selling playdough....no joke. I sell them ten dollars real money for one million in fake money. So far I've sold off three million of my fake money for $30, but I managed to piss most of it away.....dwindling it down to like 6bucks until now.....I'm on a decent heater at the moment and I built it back up to $105 then came crashing down to $41 yesterday before jumping back up to $83.

I've been grinding it out at the .5/.10 tables, multi-tabling 'em, but I've also recently been tangling it up at the .25./50 tables. I was doing relatively well up until some sick mother****er all ined me with his paired tens(queen kicker) against my paired Carlos*s (ace kicker) and proceeded to drown my ass on the river with the turd ten........MOTHER****ER! That really hurt, man...he took me for 30bucks......i came into the table with the minimum ($10) and was really feeling good about myself up to that point.....it was truly sickening to say the least.....

just crushed some flush chasing faggot with my BIG, HAIRY QUADS.....had the pocket 8s, hit my quads off the flop, he was sitting on the ace/3 of spades with enough dough to cover me, I had something like 13 bucks. The flop comes out 8/4spades/8.....check on the turn....what do you know it? A spade....we check it down again, and as is typical of jokerstars, he hits his runner, runner NUT flush....this is the .25/,50 tables and I make a rather weak and suspicious lookin raise, he, of course, re-raises, as he should and I don't even hesitate to push it all in....he makes his call frighteningly quick.....AND BOOM.....I violate 'em with my horse Cock of a hand.....LOL....good stuff. I feel a lot better now, man.

I see you're a good tournament player. Might wanna try the big tournaments later, all the GT tournaments give you a good shot on your money, if there's like 5k$ GT and the buy-in is 50$.

Appreciate the kind words, bro, but I suck at those long, 1k+ people tourneys. I've tried a couple where the buyin was like 3-5 bucks and finished somewhere in the high thousands in both of 'em. The blinds interval in those tourneys is like 15mins, instead of the 5mins in the turbo SnGs that I'm used to, you know? I just don't know how to properly pace myself in those longer games, bro. I start coming in with retarded hands early and getting myself involved in massive preflop raises that end up crippling me......don't have the mental endurance required to compete in 'em.........yet.

gettin' better and better.......:bouncy::alex:

gonna get supertight now, man....I swear, I will not play anything less than the suited-connector aces from now on......woot, woot!
You have to play looser in early tournament play IMO.

It is a catch 22 though. Do you go out nuts early? Or do you establish a tight image? I normally let the table decide that, i.e. cards getting dealt, etc. If after first 10-15 cards I haven't even got speculative hands to play such as

- Small Pairs
- Suited Connectors
- 1 Gap Suited Connectors
- Suited Aces
- Off-Suited Connectors

Then I am playing tight.

But all in all, when the blinds are low, play speculative hands trying to flop a big hand. Call standard size raises 2.5 to 4 the blinds with hands such as small pairs, suited connectors or limp with other hands, raising in early position with these hands too is good to mix play up.

if I may ask, how much did you deposit and what's your bankroll at now? seems like it's increasing exponentially from what I'm seeing in this thread. be aware with Jokerstars though, it's all fine and dandy for the first few weeks of real money play, then the supreme ****age begins where you get absolutely boned in what seems like 80% of hands. or maybe that was just me

^^hurhurhur....ain't that the truth, bro? This is exactly why I've cut back on my cash-table plays and have decided to stick to playing SnGs mostly. Anyway, I didn't deposit a single loonie, bro. What I did is sell off roughly 3.5million of my playdough chips for $30 over about a period of 2weeks and I've been playing with that freeroll of sorts ever since....no joke.

hehe. That's some excellent theorizing, bro.........That's the beauty of poker, though, you know? It's not all mechanical and there aren't a lot of inflexibly set standards or paths to always take, you know? It allows for a lot of expansive and unconventional playing styles.

The longer a tourney is (usually ones with 180 people or more), the more I'm apt to play tighter and attempt to build an image of being a clean, solid player who only comes into a pot with the perceived preflop nuts....I'll even show my hands on won pots, so long as the hand I've got adheres to my facade that I'm creating. But if it's a short, sped up tourney, then I'm playing just about every pot allowable (so long as the raise isn't bigger than 3-4x the BB). I'm sniffin' around and chasing just about everything out there that's possible to draw, you know?

My biggest flaw at the moment (aside from making calls with marginal hands out of position), is that I tilt like no other. It doesn't take much for me to come completely unglued and destruct in a seething ball of anger. This is why I'm glad that I'm infront of a screen, in a cyber table and not live because I think that I'd be in jail serving time for hard labour or in a grave somewhere by now rotting away if I was playing some in-the-flesh poker. I've punched a lot of walls and chucked countless of silverware and dishes outside of my window and into my backyard over the past month or so playing realdough poker, man.
