it's been an ok game when it comes to playing football, the usual clássico foul galore is kind of ruining it...

nice dive by Liedson, he hasn't lost that kind of skill (H)

We've had some good chances but failed to capitalize, we need one more goal at least.

Liedson has to be the most disgusting player in the league right now. Terrible to see him wearing our NT jersey.

I'm not talking about the diving only, I think what's worse is his antics. I.E.:

Like I said before, our job is dealing damage. Sure, we can provide a clutch interrupt here and there, but the extra protection a shield WOW Gold provides just isn't as relevant in a raid as you'd assume it to be. Obsessing over shields pre-Icecrown is an exercise in madness. Instead of running Pit of Saron over and over again Buy WOW Gold, the smart elemental shaman will spend his time in The Halls of Reflection trying to grab the Shriveled Heart.Does it suck that the Shriveled Heart adds nothing to your defense? But considering the gigantic DPS WOW Power Leveling boost it gives you over the lame MP5-containing alternatives, it's a sacrifice worth making. For most of Wrath, there was a recurring theme in shaman shields. They were soaked in Buy Aion Gold MP5, making them perfectly itemized for resto shaman. And as for elemental shaman well, no one really plays that class Aion Leveling, right? I mean, they can just take the same shields.

Win. Win. Win!

I obviously don't expect us to hand them another manita, keeping a clean sheet and scoring at least a couple will be good enough for me...

Sad thing is one of Porto's best players in the League game at the Dragão isn't going to play tomorrow. He's been transfered to Chelsea. (H)

Still, the centre defense is going to be the same...

I gotta say Maicon its a fantastic Benfica player

Haha, I know! Maybe Otamendi can step up now.

Still, nice to know we did more to concede those two goals than Benfica did to score them, I think that's what hurt the most.

And that's because Jorge Jesus owned Villas Boas tactically.

You were almost an entire half with one more player and still we were much nearer of the 3-0 than you were of the 1-2.

But it's true, these Maicons, Sapunarus, even Rolando. Is this the best you have? It annoys me that only now, when Benfica is getting close to last season's level people notice how crappy these players are.

What I don't understand is leaving Walter in the stands and placing Hulk more in the middle (and alone). It's all good for me though :p

Maicons, Sapunarus and Rolandos were amongst the ones that thrashed you in November. If "this" is the best we got is arguable. We can also argue that in the first half we had the two clearer and ONLY chances of the match, you got handed two goals in a platter. Did Porto play well? Not in the slightest. Did Benfica? Neither. Crap game, you did well in shutting Porto's attack (which was crap anyway from the moment Hulk had to go center), and making the most of the opportunities Maicon handed over.

Villas-Boas lost the game before it started, by fielding Sereno, much like Jesus had lost it in November. Two of our goals in November were from Falcao: injured. Pereira: injured. Don't act like that didn't make one hell of a difference.

Did you deserve to win? Yes, you did. Did you really play that good? No, you didn't. I'm looking forward to chuckle with the headlines in the press from tomorrow until the end of the League, the amount of hype around Benfica and pressure to Porto is going to go through the roof, but Porto isn't the worst team in the world now in the same way as it wasn't the best before; much like Benfica wasn't the worst team before and isn't now the best.

Congratulations though, I'm still obviously pissed at losing at home.

See this is where you're wrong. You probably didn't even notice but players like Gaitan and Peixoto had an excellent game tactically. And Cardozo was away for almost the entire match.

You are also wrong when you say you lost the match because of Sereno. He had a very decent game, mind you. Because if you saw Salvio out there in his recent form, I haven't and that was mostly due to Sereno.

Hulk in the middle had a much greater impact.

But hey, you're still gonna win the league. If we started like we are playing now then it could be a two horse race, but I really don't see you guys losing much more points to be honest.

Yes Sereno did play well, but that's beside the point; the psychological factor of playing him ruined the game for Maicon and Rolando, that's what I mean by "he lost the game before it started".

Yes, it was one of the best games Peixoto had with a Benfica jersey. I'm not talking about when he was moved to LB due to Coentrão being sent off (harsh decision, but granted he was a bit immature). This obviously doesn't mean Peixoto is a superstar, just that he was very cold and in the right places most of the time, helping his team mates.

Not only him, Gaitán, Salvio, Javi Garcia were all very well in that aspect.

And by all means, I'd like to encourage Villas Boas in continuing to play Hulk in the middle as the lone striker. But then again, now that I see it, even if he does that it will probably work since most of the other defenses in the league are so weak..

Benfica had an excellent game, and surprisingly, so did Peixoto.
Playing at Dragão is not like playing at home, or against any other team. Players that usually have freedom at the attack, have to prescind their individuality to the team as a whole. That's how you have to analyze a game like this by the away team. Tatically, we were near perfection.
