Better than we thought I guess. 13th place, 11 points away from the relegation zone. Lowest budget in the league, and lower than a few teams from the 2nd league. By all means impressive...



Hottest topic of the pre-season is of course Jorge Jesus from Benfica to Sporting. A shock for everyone here, he was supposed to either renew or go abroad so joining their city rivals was nowhere near the plan.

Guess the latter option was not ideal because he was already getting used to the language here and no there's way in hell he'd stand learning a new one

Can't wait for his first press conference at his new job to come too, really looking forward to know his take on the polemic move. And of course, him sharing his very own dialect is always a brilliant experience for the audience.
