Great job by Bobby for coming up with the idea.

i want to get so many jerseys from real madrid players this year: samuel, carlos, moro, vieira, zidane, raul

the list does not end!:D

also, apparently Madrid will pay 22 million pounds for vieira, according to yahoo

damn this is a soap opera

http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/afp/20040811/wl_uk_afp/fbl_spa_eng_pr_vieira_040811100717

Real Madrid will pay Arsenal 22 million pounds for unsettled Gunners skipper Patrick Vieira, Spanish sports dailies Marca and As reported.

"It seems a done deal and the only thing missing is the green light from the English club's board," said Marca on Wednesday.

The 22-million-pound transfer fee is more than the Spanish giant's original offer of 20 million, while still less than the 28 million Arsenal are seeking for Vieira, widely regarded as the finest midfield holding player in world football.

As reported that Real Madrid wanted to unveil Vieira on Thursday while Marca said that that could come on Friday or the start of next week.

Signing a lot of players as their life depended on it doesnt mean they have better squad than us.

The more important think is to have an equilibrated team and take our time signing the right players in the right positions.

BTW, I can understand why Barsa has got mad signing new players, they´ve got 5 years without a trophy :rofl:

Just imagine Samuel or Helguera get injured for 6 months... And we are the same team than in 2003/2004 but without Cambiasso even.

Same thing might happen to e.g. Milan with Nesta, Man. Utd. with Ferdinand( this actually happened last season with him getting punished for 8 months) etc. That doesn't mean a club should sign loads of defenders just in case...after all, especially defending begins from the strikers and midfielders who prevent opponents from playing their game. It was Makelele who did the job the previou years, not quality defenders (which obviously we were sort of)....

I think Moro's best attribute has to be his positioning. It makes passing him the ball easier. Yesterday's goals may have looked easy, but they were created by great positioning. GO MORO!!!
