Anyone wants to place bets on Portillo scoring against us next year? Ex-Madrilenos ALWAYS feed on us.

On another note, imo selling Samuel is one of the worst things we can do. We have no one who can consistently play well in his position(Pavon IS a bit suspect, and we'll have to wait and see if Woody will bear fruit) so we will have to spend big bucks to replace him( Rio Ferdinand etc.) We'll probably have to buy a backup keeper to replace Cesar too.

P.S. What happened to the young attackers and midfielders that played in the cup matches last year like soldado, alex perez and even juanfran? How about if we build them into quality players for now and forget about buys like essien and robinho?

Portillo is garbage.

He won't score against us even if he played, but that's irrelevant because since the Morientes fiasco, Perez will not let loaned-out Madrid players play against us.

Anyways, Portillo is terrible, couldn't score for Fiorentina in Serie A and was being dropped from the team consistently. He'll suck at Zaragoza, too.

so Pablo Garcia, it is then. i don't know much about this player, but Sacchi and Luxa made the right choice with Tommy. so im not worried. nice to add some Uruguayan flavour to the Blancos.

he has lots of experience in both La Liga and Serie A. played in Milan 2 yrs.

the AS article about Garcia says, that there will be one more midfielder signed. an offensive one.

Maldonado > P.Garcia ; Maldonado is younger and improving. Besides I don't want to take away the best player from "el Vasco" Aguirre, only if he gets a new job in La Liga with another team...will I be ok with the signing of Garcia.

- Will Portillo be starting @ Zaragoza?
- Woddy's improving his shape and practicing, ain't he? :D

yeah, i know :( but we can't get Maldonado well, we could get him... if we sell Samuel

i think Portillo won't start at Zaragoza, but if Villa leaves, he would be a starter for sure.

I have a doubt.... why do you need another winger if you have Beckham I mean look him play to Madrid and then look him in England NT, he already improved in Madrid i know but he always do a wonderful job in England NT, so i dont see anymore the need of bid Joaquin or C Ronaldo, but if u want a winger i rather Cristiano cuz he can play both sides, See ya!!! :ewan:

this all 'RW thing' it's because we will only have one RW in the squad (Beckham). Both Joaquin and Cristiano can play as RW and LW, so any of them would be a great sign.

they're fighting for the promotion to second division (more info here ). if they get promoted, i guess those players will stay there. if they stay in third division, some of them will be promoted to the first team or loaned to another first division team.
