Rosenborg suck when it comes to finishing. They had 13 corners (Real had 1) and 6 shots on goal (Real had 1).
IF you watched the game, then u will noe that we were clearing out every ball inside the box.... every cross, and corner... and of course Casillas saved some as well

mustve been one sh*t game :). whats important is that we won, that line-up posted before just f*cking blows me away. our bench is Real Madrid B players now. in 2 weeks, everyone must be healthy. although it would be even better to destroy Barca with players like Soldado and De la Red on the pitch :D.

Could not agree more, we really need to buy a better goalgetter, because the finishing wasn't good enough! Braaten played like a god, and Real used a boring tactic, just defending. BUT! I do understand why they did it, they scored one goal, and got one for free. So, I understand why they changed into the defensive tactic. :p

Congrats with the win, which in my opinion was very, very, VERY unfair. We controlled the whole match and had billions of attacks, but never manage to score, and you guys score 2 goals out of 3 chances. I know we can only blame ourself for our ineffiency, but this really stinks!!

But congrats with advancing to the 1/8-finals!

*frustrated*

If u analize the match you'll see most of your ocassions took place in the 2nd half... when we were already winning 2-0. I think we drop down our rythm just because we could.

But anyway good match by your side, you have some interesting young players, and I hope you return to the Champions in 2007.

 Guti. An "almost" assistance and a goal in the day after his b-day. He dedicated his goal to his recently dead grandpa.

Robinho, Raul and Ramos also did a great job (Y)

BTW we and Lyon are already classified for 1/8 final :D

i forgot to praise Ramos
if he plays like this all season... we will rock

BTW how did Ramos and diogo go in as the 2 DMs??

yeah it didnt sound like an exciting match for a Real fan but a win is a win, of course, of course.

Who got the 4 yellows in the match and who do we play next? and who misses out?

and i am keen to hear from (enter name here), the guy who went to the match. i hope he got his tix.

oh yeah did any notice this in last seasons top scorers list:
5th J.Baptista - 18 goals!

hahaha. only Real Madrid can score twice with just one shot on goal in the first half (6) .

Robinho and Guti were amazing in the first half. One word can describe our performance in that half: solid. They played as a team.

In the second half, with the substitution (Mejia for Salgado), our defence felt apart. Where the **** was Mejia playing? DM?? RW?? CB??. Casillas was the man of this half. He's so good :lui: . Diogo improved a lot when he moved to RB, as DM he didn't participate too much, but as RB he feels much more comfortable. Right now, i can't say who should start there, if Salgado or Diogo . They're both good.

Woodgate's third start in a row, and he's getting better every time. Besides that dumb foul in the edge of the box, he was magnificient. In the air, he's the king. If someone would had told me 3 months ago that Woody would have some many minutes in the first team, and at such a good level, i would had punch him in the face and call him a liar :jambo: .

(Y): Casillas, Woodgate, Pavon, Diogo, Ramos, Robinho, Guti
neither good nor bad: Raúl, Roberto Carlos, Salgado
(N): Raul Bravo, Beckham, Mejia

My last words are for the biggest prick on the team: Raúl Bravo. 10 minutes, he didn't touch the ball a single time, and he got a yellow :nape: . Can he be any ****tier? i strongly believe he can. I hope Luxa won't give him ANY opportunities, so Bravo leaves the team at the end of the season and/or retires. :ewan:

Rosenborg will have to win the CL to do that, they sucked in the national league this year...

I would have preferred Lyon had tied or lost yesterday; though we wouldnt be classified, we would have more chances of finish 1st in the group.

Now we need to win Lyon 4-0 or more, what is almost impossible.

EDIT: --> :rockman:

nah, i don't care if we finish first of second. if we win 3-0 to Lyon, we would have to win @ Greece too, because Lyon plays Rosenborg at home in the last matchday, so it would be a waste of time and energy.

a victory over Lyon (even a 1-0) plus another yellow card to Guti, Diogo and Helguera (so they won't miss the first leg of the knockout round) would be nice. we can use Castilla's players to face Olympiakos.

now, the (very) bad news:

Helguera out for 15-20 days

He could miss the SuperClasico :nape:

at least Salgado could be available for this weekend (Zaragoza, at the Bernabeu)
