I posted a link about us being linked to him awhile. I guess everyone thought I was talking about Mahamadou Diarra but I was talking about this one. The guy looks very tall too.

That's who I thought you were talking about from the beginning. The Diarra I knew about was Alou and he's playin for France. We'll just have to see how he does in the WC, but I hope Madrid get him. :rockman:

The link I posted ( which also contained news about Chivu and Ancelotti, and this was a while ago ) talked about us being liked to Alou Diarra. I was just responding to R.9's post because it seemed like he thought the article I had posted was linking us to Mahamadou Diarra.I have been talking about Mahamadou Diarra rom the beginning who would coast 30 + million euros to get and I dont want him for that price. I dont know much of Alou Diarra or how much his pricetag would be. With that said I would go with Oubina instead.

Bl**dy Hell 3 Diarras ! Attack of the Clones ?! :funny:

Lyon: Mahamadou Diarra - is overpriced about 30M £ +

Lens: Alou Diarra - French NT World Cup player / great tackler of the ball

Chelsea: Lassana Diarra - (from Le Havre)

---

I think Alou was once at Liverpool and failed badly but who knows he might has improved. Recent reviews speak so.

-------Baptista----------Ronaldo-------

i dont think that we can get carvalho coz he is almost a world class defender at chelsea..
del horno? huh...i'm not sure how he played at spain before this..but a.cole is a real great..he is quick in attacking..& at a few seconds he is at the back already..
riquelme...he is onloan right? why dont we just try to sign him...
beckham shud stay...all the wankers who said get off beckham can go to hell..
he is the most consistent midfield that we have this season
ronaldo..plz dont leave us...i dont care wheter you guys love him or not..but hey...if raul is upfront...do u guys think he can score goals...the last goal that he scored for us is last year? (correct me if i'm wrong)

only one thing that i'm worry if we get these players & if we use the exact system..
riquelme is a jogger..& ronaldo is a lazy boy.....which means we will only have 8 players running on the field..naah...zidane is a jogger too... :chew:

Ye thats true. Anyone for that price has to be with no doubt at all, amazing from the beginning of the season to the end, or however long they were to stay. One things for sure, and this is what I think, but I feel like they're going to make a bad signing and it's gonna affect the team in a negative way, being 1 player or multiple. I just hope this doesn't happen, cuz Cassano was a big example of this, although I don't wanna go back into that topic again...Cam on make some moooves. :lui:

Really? What a team they're gonna have. Now they can get rid of some obstructs they had in their lineup (ie. Jose Mari :p)

Thats what I read. They also signed Nihat and are rumored to be close to singing Pires. Should be a strong team next year and they are not in Europe either.

2 new stories:
Sevilla rival Real Madrid for Chelsea's Del Horno
Sevilla have joined Real Madrid in their interest in Chelsea left-back Asier del Horno. Blues manager Jose Mourinho reckons left-back Del Horno, 25, enjoys the bright lights of London too much and he was upset with his attitude at training. The Spaniard had already fallen foul of Mourinho before his red card in the Champions League exit against Barcelona. Real Madrid and UEFA Cup winners Seville are interested in a £4m swoop, with Chelsea ready to cut their losses after paying £8m for him from Athletic Bilbao a year ago.

Real Madrid move for Chelsea defender Carvalho
Real Madrid have held talks with Chelsea over defender Ricardo Carvalho.
The Portugal international was offered to both Real and Barcelona last month by Chelsea intermediaries and the fallen Madrid giants have followed up the initial approach with a concrete inquiry. Real were trumped two years ago by Chelsea for Carvalho and are now keen to bring the centre-half to Spain this summer.

-Cichino-Ramos-Carvalho-Del Horno-
+Woody, Mejia, Bravo, Pavon, Aerolba, Diogo, Salgado*, Helguera*
*(if they stay)

I still think we need one more quality CB.

Pires extended his contract with Arsenal.
That's what it's said in the Henry thread.

Probably they're already done with Cani, if they play a 4-5-1 it could be

-------Senna-----Tachinnardi-----
--Cani--------Riquelme-----Nihat--
---------------Forlan-------------

BTW,

Interviewer: "So Guti, how much time do you think it may take you to reach Barça level?"
Guti: "They'll must struggle for many years to reach our level of cups" :D

Nihat on the left? I would think that they would play a 4-4-2 and Sorin would be in thier plans no?

haha Guti (H) ( Althought tbh it would take us a while to reach Barca, they are too powerful atm:( )

Mmm I just don't think the coach will play with just Senna + Riquelme in the middle... It would be too risky imo, cause Riquelme can't defend.

Forlan to Barça? :| Are the first news i have about that...
