I would like to ask a question to you guys: how good is Valdo from Osasuna? I've heard he started his career with Real Madrid, if someone can tell me what are his skills, it would be great! Valdo is going to play for Marseille next year so I need to know more about him!

Again, weekly form and head-to-head battles go up and down over the course of the year.

When I say we have a better team I mean, if you had to pick a starting 11 from the two clubs, I think only 3 Madrid players would be there. Ramos, Casillas and Diarra. Of course, being better on paper means nothing, as we have all seen this year. You have to play the games, and for many reasons Barca underachieved this season. So now the task falls to getting the right pieces in place and getting the team playing back up to potential, which I think could be easier than getting a team to play over their heads again like Madrid did the second half this season.

Plus the coaching circus isn't going to help you guys. Your young guys like Robinho, Higuain, Gago, Ramos, Casillas et al are a great bunch, and I do hope you return to a high level as it is not good for the sport that a great club such as Madrid be in such a shambles for as long as you were.

But I think that Barca has had their "Jalon de orejas" and are going to be back better than ever next year.

You forgot Ruud! He isn't pichichi for nothing. Not only is he pichichi but pichichi on a Capello side!I think we'll be more than o.k. next season. I see things only getting much better for the next 5 years...unless something drastic happens.

Well..we paid 75 million for Zidane when he was 29! Kaka is 23. 6 years younger and 5 million more. If we have so much money then...well *** it, get him. He may be the key to winning a couple more CL titles and liga titles which bring in enormous revenue + shirt sales, liscensing rights, etc. We would get real close to getting our money back! I say do it!

I agree, IF we can get him then we have the money and we should sign him, look how much we have wasted on guys like woodgate, baptista, samuel etc. etc. at least this would be a good investment also i think we need 2 or 3 good signings as Barcelona are very close to signing Yaya Toure, Chivu and Thierry Henry.

That made Milan angry that he did that...and it's no secret that he would love to play for us + I said he'll come to Madrid sometime, not next year. Valdo is a right winger who can play as an AMC/FC. He is fast, good dribble, pass, and well he is one of the better Osasuna players so he should do you guys well. Yes he did came from our cantera but he has gained more at Osasuna. He is no Ribery though so just keep that in mind.

Also I do agree with CarlosDanger, well kind of. He makes very good points but it seems like you guys just skeem his post over and make conclusions based on him being a Barca fan and nothing more.

No disrespect to Ruud as the man can score goals, but I would take Eto'o over RVN in a heartbeat. After that, Ronaldinho, Messi, Deco, Xavi, Iniesta, Diarra, Puyol, Zambrotta, Ramos, Casillas.

So it's still 3 players.

Something drastic like the president firing the league-winning coach could happen to you this week.

Anyway, as I said, the rivalry is eternal and it is great to see. I am not dissing Madrid, as you obviously have enough of a team to win the league, and have good potential, but at the moment, Barca is better positioned both in terms of talent and future promise.

And again, that doesn't win leagues, points and wins do. So enjoy this championship, despite the fact that we were statistically better, we are not champions and that is the bottom line.

But watch out next year. Henry will do a better job than Ezquerro/Saviola/Gudjohnsen and we aren't done improving the squad yet.

Thank you for your answer! Valdo is free so it would be a good transfer. I know it will be hard to replace Ribéry but we have Samir Nasri, amazing playmaker, and some prospects as Giuly or Ziani so... Thx again

Well, since they are good friends, I'm not so worried.

I'm more worried about Ronaldinho. But at the same time, with everyone having a full summer of rest and a proper pre-season, I think they will be stronger next year in that sense. I hope Ronnie comes in with a renewed work ethic as that was lacking this season from him.

Kaka already said he wasnt coming I read a report that says, that Calderon was willing to put $100 down for the man, that is crazy to me, personally, just dumb actually...

Kaka would be amazing and while i wouldn't completely rule him out it's looking more likely he will stay with Milan, i think Arjen Robben may be one of the faces to arrive in Madrid, another Striker is needed, Olivera and Saviola are targets as well as Tevez and Adriano. That leaves LB which will probaby be filled by Gabriel Heinze and Gabriel Milito is also rumoured to prefer us to Juve. My ideal line-up next season would be:

We should only sign players we need, and think about this. We spent €66m on a much older player in Zidane so spending €80m or so should make sense for Kaka don't you think? Now I don't want to do this because right now we have more than just 1 position to solve so we can't really just splash out 80 million and continue getting players. Also any hope we had of getting Kaka goes away as soon as Calderon opens his mouth about him, Kaka is too much of a gentelmen to force his way out otherwise he would join us but the problem is dealing with Milan.

Anyway this season it looks like we have done some basman singing's. Metzelder is for sure and according to rumors Saviola and Dudek could also join us.

One last thing, if Alves joins us he should play as a right winger not a RB ( we already have a RB who can't defend in Cicinho, Alves is a better defender but not that great as he can get cought out of position quite easily ).
