I would like to go with a young defender such as

- Lucio
- Mexes
- Metzelder

If not go after...

- Ayala

Real Madrid don't plan on making any huge transfer moves this January, I heard they will try and rely on some of their youth talent.

I don't think Stam is ever going to leave, Milan tried and failed to get him to leave Lazio so it might be a problem, plus he's already at his prime and probably doesn't have very many great years left, but you never know.

Young defenders are definately needed. How good is Hofland? That could be a good buy.

Isnt the porto defender in talk with Real i think his name is Carvalho or something like that i dont think i spelled it right.

they are definitly not gonna sign a defender whos cup tied...i also dont think its gonna matter if they are young or not...Queiroz probably wants an experienced guy, and Madrid really doesnt need to build for the future since they need to win now
