I think the rep system is a bit silly and it doesn't phase me one bit, but if people are having fun with it that's fine by me.
Either way I bet that in a couple weeks nobody will care about it but noobs.

exactly.. it's like a cola can found by african tribe.. some of us think that it's god, some of us dont give a dime about it.. it's something like a character test for me, it says "whoever takes this serious, keep away from him"

I dunno man, even if the top end is somewhat screwy, I think the neg reps definately help as, almost invariably, all posts with one or more red blocks beside them are utter ****. didy, Theodorakis, phillip1, andy_of_arsenal and all the other unfunny forum morons are now exposed and easy to ignore so we dont give them the attention they crave.

Honestly I think this rep system is unnecessary. It's annoying how people seem to make a positive rep look like a gift and a negative rep like some sort of an insult. What the hell is wrong with you people?

I think you're overreacting a bit here, Denis...I personally believe that most "untouchables" as you put it, see it as a novelty and are having a bit of fun with it...I don't see how it's harming anyone? I think Hugo has the right attitude about it and like all new things the novelty will wear off and people will soon get bored of it. Regarding it's potential to create cliques, well I think these have always existed, so it's a bit of a null point. Anyway, you're entitled to your opinion but hopefully, some of the things mentioned in this thread might change your view.
