I expect those versions to be locally available, in PAL/SECAM ... it's NTSC over here, so yeah, we cahtowff ... for now ...

with the latest hardware, in terms of compatibility, I shouldn't think so ... but region locking is still around though ...

Yeah NTSC/PAL doesn't matter, but region locking would. Except for PC, in which case nothing matters.

Yeah this is the first year I will ever actually buy a digital copy of a game. Looking forward to something going wrong and spending hours chatting with EA's useless costumer support.

As far as I'm aware they don't do these in the UK. Then again FIFA is like COD over here, an online community of 14 year olds who are racist and spend too much time on the game.
