Have you played the other two DAs, Theo? I'd recommend doing that first. Either way, The Last of Us should be the better choice of the bunch.

Played a bit with Stanford, understand college ball a bit more now, and think I'm gonna try a real challenge and pick the worst team and try build up. I like the idea of playing a what-if and inserting Yale or Harvard in the game as the worst team and work with that. To those familiar with NCAA, what sort of procedure do FCS teams go through to become FBS teams and how do conference changes work? I figured I would make the team an independent and after a few seasons and maybe a bowl or two insert them into a weak conference and after more success move into a tough conference. Do things work any way like that? Also, what logic exists in teams being in a certain conference? I assume a northeastern team like Yale would never be in the SEC for example.

Can you change conferences in the game? I've never actually played it.

For an FCS team to move up to the FBS they have to undergo a transitional process that means they have to sit out of the postseason (bowls, basically) for two years while they're being "transitioned" to the higher classification (This happened to Georgia Southern -- who actually won the Sun Belt title -- and App State this year). They get to give out more scholarships at the higher level but it's much tougher, obviously.

It's worth noting that some schools (like the Ivys) are in FCS because they simply couldn't compete at the FBS level with their own scholarship rules, they offer something similar to a scholarship in some cases but they don't hand them out like candy like other schools do. Some others (Davidson is an example) don't offer them at all, I think the league for those schools is called the Pioneer League.

Geography, history, and (now most importantly) money are considered when expanding conferences. So no, a northeastern school probably wouldn't be accepted.

If you can move conferences in the game and want to take an unheralded team to top the SEC try Rice (Houston, Texas) or Wake Forest (Winston-Salem, NC; Wake is already in a "power 5" league though) or most of the Sun Belt teams. Any of the Southern Conference (FCS) schools might work too.

What's the best conference an Ivy league school could reasonably slot into assuming they're good enough? I think Pac12 is more western right? Maybe Big10?

Can anyone recommend me fun local multiplayer Wii games?
Just bowl. I think that's the most reasonable game on the Wii platform. If you're a pro then try golf! The other games are not that good on it, really! I'd give some more advice, but I think it would be inappropriate. :s

Probably! : D I've never played Mario Kart on Wii though. We only played bowling and tennis the last time I was there. Stoned as fuck, well it was fun, that's the most important thing! And I don't even smoke that shite under normal circumstances, makes me dizzy.

Mmm.. I think I've played Mario Kart once or twice. I sucked at it. It was like hmmm let me remember... 6.5 years ago. It was fun to say the least.

I know nothing about Mario Party though.

About 5-6 hours of gameplay, half of it cutscenes and QTevents. No multiplayer, co-op, side missions... 5 years of development... I was looking forward to it too.
