lol yeah even the commentator said it was his first. His previous goal was from a penalty.

He hasn't been playing much, I hope he keeps getting some chances. Though I kind of agree with it, he needs time to adapt.

Our owner said he would leave in the winter and it's time, the way he has played this season I don't feel too bad that he's leaving but even saying that he's still our top scorer in all competitions with 6 goals. Enjoy him, he's a great player, just pray he'll be in form or else you'll boo him off the field.

I've just seen on the news (sporttv) that the deal with Dica is closed.

To be honest, I never watched him play. Thanks on the info though, and I do hope he'll be in form for us if he actually comes to Benfica.

how lucky were we in this game against académica ?
we played like crap and mainly because of camacho's ridiculous subs
if it was f.santos we would have been booed so much....

the game is tied and he takes off nuno gomes and puts adu in. well that's what i call ambition.....

é um jogador com qualidade para jogar no benfica ? claro que não
é um jogador com em todos os jogos faz mais do que uma falta para amarelo e por sorte ainda só foi expulso uma vez ? claro que sim

digam o que disserem, para mim este tipo de jogadores não faz falta nenhuma no benfica. obviamente que são precisos jogadores que trabalhadores mas claramente existem jogadores igualmente trabalhadores com muito mais qualidade que o binya

Of course Binya is crap. There's no way he should be a starter, even a part of our squad you're right. The only reason he was playing is due to the injuries, someone had to fill in that position when Petit was out. And with David Luiz also out, Katsouranis backed to the CB position, we really didn't have anyone else (Edcarlos and Zoro aren't that good either) and that's because of the bad planning of this season.

But anyway, with everyone available now I don't expect Binya to play anymore.

David Luiz had a good game as well. He's playing way better than Luisão atm, regardless of his goal tonight.

And another thing, you can see that Cardozo wasn't fit to play yet he was subbed in. Why oh why do these situations continue? Hopefully he didn't make it worse, but it's always an unnecessary risk.

I think Binya is a very good player already, with the potential to become great, he's still young and he clearly needs to gain some maturity specially when it comes to face the opponent where he can be very agressive at times. But he can't be compared to Beto on technique imo, he has good reception and pass, and he actually plays with his head up. I think Petit is better and soon he will lose his place on the first team to him and Katsouranis, but he sure is a good option and in a few years with the retirement of Petit, that won't last forever, he will become a regular starter and he can be much better than Petit. I bet that if he played on Arsenal or Chelsea he would be considered a new African talent, as usual, but meh...

BTW, we made an offer for Chelito Delgado, that would be out of this world
