I've heard that Bilic and co. were a bit too cocky leading up to the game, so well done England for teaching our boys a little lesson in manners. I'm glad it happened so early in the qualifying stage, hopefully there's plenty of time and space for improvement.

Well, it was as usual just a small minority of idiots, and unfortunately we all have a few thick fans who follow our National teams. Nobody should be so stupid as to paint all Croatians with the same brush. The vast majority of Croatian fans were fantastic on the night in my opinion.

I think your second paragraph was spot on. Bilic and Co were cocky leading up to the game, and seriously under estimated the threat from England. If Bilic thought that Fabio's England were going to look anything like McClarens England then he has indeed been taught a very valuable lesson.

As you say it's early days yet in the qualifying group, and we all know that Croatia can play better than they did the other night. I don't think Croatian fans need to worry too much.
