The True Reason Why There Is No Creation Centre for FIFA 2004

The EA Sports guys do not care about the game players. Do you remember, some weeks or months before the game release, the fifa2004 official website had many "great" videos, screenshots and other information, just to attract our interest and force us to buy the game. Now, when we all have bought the game, they have our money, the website is no longer updated, no official info about the Creation Centre is available. They do not need us anymore. This is EA Sports' real face.

Shut up about EA 'abandoning' their customers. They HAVE to care about us otherwise no one would buy the game, so they must be concerned about us otherwise they'd lose ALOT of money because FIFA is one of their best selling games. JUST BE PATIENT!!! :kader:

I'm completely with lukas. Maybe there will be a single downloadable CC (which I'm not convinced of) but what's the problem of having a single sentence like: "Watch out for CC 2004 coming soon. please be patient" or something like this on the official website. Daz you're right that FIFA is a big game and needs big support but we're talking bout "what is" not about "what should be". And I don't know about you but I'm not happy with the actual support...

Barman and Lukas are right - it would take all of 2 minutes to post an update as to whether there will be a CC or not. I've played EA Sports for a long time (all of them, yes Rugby, Cricket & AFL too) and given them a lot of money over the years, all I'm asking for here is one freakin' statement.

Even Rugby 2004 had a player editor and that may well be the crappiest EA Sports game ever released - what a load of unplayable crap.

Hello Lukas,

I understand your reaction because as one of the patch makers of the Czech Gambrinus Liga you NEED the CC to patch the game.
And I am myself a roster updater so I miss this feature soooo badly !
Next friday the EA manager game is out ,with an in game editor,the fusion football feature and the 2 games share practically the same data base.
So I think there will be no CC in the coming weeks but one around Christmas or beginning 2004.
I still don't understand why they have removed the in game editor
which was in 2002 . It was limited but still better as nothing.
And this swap system instead of normal transfer is pure bull**** !
Once again it's all about marketing.
But I agree with you, the way EA " communicates " with his customers is a shame.

I've been a fifa player since Fifa soccer (1995) and the game had the ability to edit the players since back in 1998 (or 1999 I can't remember). And now we've been taken so many years back. And that's only one of the things promised that EA didn't give us. How about dynamic weather?

I think I've about taken enough crap from EA.

(I know this isn't the KONAMI vs EA forum, but DAMN! PES 3 has full editability, and I'm ready to send this piece of crap fifa game back to the store)

I'd be fully satisfied if they posted a brief news on the FIFA 2004 official page:

"The Creation Centre editor for your FIFA 2004 is still under development, and it is expected to be released in xxx days/weeks/months"

or

"The development of Creation Centre editor for your FIFA 2004 has been candelled and we suggest the community to create it's own unofficial editor"

It took me 2 minutes to write this message, the EA staff should spend the same time to let us know...

the real reason why theres no CC is propably cause EA Sports doesnt have enough time cause there already working on fifa 2005 and that since 2 months already if ur from germany u need to look at the dvd from PC Games from this month and look at Made in Germany:EA Sports

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think last year the CC wasn't made by EA itself. They gave the comission to another company. But imo that's no excuse for bringing it out that late. If you're studying and doing a homework together with a fellow student you need to make sure that both of you finish their work in a proper time...

@mgportero: I would respect your opinion if you wouldn't spread it like a five-year-old. I'm not quite happy with alot of things about the game too, but we should try to be constructive.
