Tell "Not Manuel Neuer" in that other goal that he should stop giving up rebounds.

Haha. Definitely wasn't having a go, I wish we had a striker as lucky as that bastard.

Great job by Gomez doing what he does, but if you watched that game it was complete domination. There were long stretches in the second half (like, 10 or 20 minutes in a row) where City didn't string more than 2 passes together. There was a time I think we had 30 passes in a row, maybe more without a City touch.

But in the end, it might have just been a little naive of Mancini to field a 4-4-2 on the road in Europe, particularly with the horrendous Gareth Barry as one of the midfielders. They were really overrun in midfield, not only was it 3 vs. 2, but Ribery and Muller drift inside, so it was at times 4 or 5 vs. 2.

Yeah, I'm disappointed with them. If they get knocked down to the Euro League I would expect a lot of those Brazilians to leave. Jadson, Willian, Douglas Costa, and Luiz Adriano would have no shortness of suitors, and regressing in the Champions League sends a message that they probably can't win the competition. It seemed like they were building every year, and they looked GREAT last season, probably a lot to do with keeping the team together for several years.

Apparently Aguero made fun of Villareal players in the tunnel to the locker room after the late win. If it's true, how stupid can he be? City are 3rd in the group with a critical rematch at Villareal in two weeks. Los submarinos are going to come out motivated as hell.

They are unbeaten so far and will play at home in the last match...incredible campaign.

And finally, a glimpse of light for us with this vital win in Ukraine...now we have to beat Zenit at the Dragão in order to qualify which is supposed to be perfectly doable as long as the players actually put some efffort into their game like tonight.

btw, AVB is going downhill...I like it (H)

You could see this coming a million miles away. Both AVB and Pereira going downhill. Ever since the day AVB left and the press conference presenting Pereira I said it wasn't going to work for neither of them, and Porto would come out losing the most. **** this. **** Pereira. "Jogamos à Porto". Sure, 39% ball possession. **** you.

Porto won't lose so much when AVB comes back in a year and then never leaves again.

And for APOEL, it's really a dream run. If this happened in FM I'd bitch about the game not being realistic.

I don't think they have too many Cypriots on the team. I heard that the club is splitting 50% of the revenue (including TV) with the players which certainly explains the motivation for APOEL's players who don't make that much money.

It's weird that all the players in the Cyprus' national team are playing in the cypriot league, while only 3-4 are from APOEL.

Not sure how many cypriots usually start in the first XI for APOEL, but against Zenith there were none...
