Bundesliga Stadiums Season 2020/2021 - Update by Nisoley

Hi guys,

I am a little bit late, but I wish you all a happy new year! I used my vacations around the turn of the year and made a very big update of the Bundesliga stadiums for FIFA 16. It started as a small project, but then became huge and I'm incredibly happy with the result. This whole package is also a bit of a farewell present for Fifaplanet. After 13 years (ten of which I was actively involved in), this era will unfortunately soon come to an end.


General things up front:

- Each team has a Tournament version (stadium_x.rx3). This is the version used in the CL, EL, Relegation, DFL-Supercup, etc.
- In addition, all 18 Bundesliga teams have a DFB-Pokal version (specificstadium_X_0_0_206).
- Finally, of course, the most important thing: the Bundesliga version (specificstadium_X_0_0_19). This is of course where the most energy went in overall, I tried to update as many sponsors as possible. Please note that I created the graphics completely on my own, they are not always perfect, but I think it looks neat anyway.


What has changed?

Allianz Arena - Bayern München (EA):

Sponsors updated, Stadium structure updated, Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version updated.


BayArena - Bayer Leverkusen (EA):

Sponsors updated, Tournament version extended (all around Tournament Dressing), DFB-Pokal version created.


Borussia Park - Borussia Mönchengladbach (EA):

Sponsors updated, second row of adboards added, Tournament version revised, DFB-Pokal version updated.


Deutsche Bank Park - Eintracht Frankfurt (EA):

Big update, of course sponsors updated, but also everything "yellow" removed, as Commerzbank is no longer sponsor, night lighting is now red, stadium structure generally updated, back goal nets optimized, Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version created.


Mercedes-Benz Arena - VfB Stuttgart (EA):

Sponsors updated, back goal nets optimized, Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version created.


Olympiastadion Berlin - Hertha BSC (EA):

Sponsors updated, Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version created. Special case: there are versions for Hertha as well as general versions, e.g. for the German national team or the DFB-Pokal final.


Opel Arena - 1. FSV Mainz (EA):

Sponsors updated, back goal nets optimized, Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version created.


PreZero Arena - TSG Hoffenheim (EA):

Sponsors updated, back goal nets optimized, Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version created.


Red Bull Arena - RB Leipzig (EA):

Sponsors updated, back goal nets optimized, Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version created.


RheinEnergieStadion - 1. FC Köln (EA):

Sponsors updated, back goal nets optimized, Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version created.


Schüco Arena - Arminia Bielefeld:

Stadium completely reworked (re-baked, many bugs fixed), sponsors updated and added, Tournament and DFB-Pokal version created.


Schwarzwald-Stadion - SC Freiburg:

Stadium completely reworked (re-baked, many bugs fixed), sponsors updated and added, Tournament and DFB-Pokal version created.


Signal-Iduna Park - Borussia Dortmund (EA):

Sponsors updated, Tournament version created, DFB-Pokal version updated. Exception: Here there is an additional CL and EL version.


Stadion An der Alten Försterei - Union Berlin (EA):

Sponsors updated and added (roof), back goal nets optimized, new banners added (thanks to rost97), Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version created. Ingame my favorite stadium!


Veltins-Arena - Schalke 04 (EA):

This is the stadium I had never really revised, because the first update came from martinza. But now I sat down to it and did a lot. Sponsors updated (finally no more Adidas), Tournament Version extended, DFB-Pokal Version updated.


Volkswagen Arena - VfL Wolfsburg (EA):

Sponsors updated, back goal nets optimized, new banners added (thanks to rost97), Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version created.


Weserstadion - Werder Bremen (EA):

Sponsors updated, back goal nets optimized, new banners added (thanks to rost97), Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version created.


WWK Arena - FC Augsburg (EA):

Sponsors updated, back goal nets optimized, Tournament version extended, DFB-Pokal version created.

FIFA-ARGENTINA, one of the most important modding websites from South-America has also dissapeared alongside with Fifa-Mexico...it is sad...but in my opinion i think we need to focus our attention on newer FIFA editions...the previsions are encouraging and i don't think it will take many time to see some fully moddable editions of FIFA 21 or so on...

Thank you and I'm not retiring but Fifaplanet was the biggest FIFA forum (number of registered users) in the world but all comes to an end. Maybe I'll update some 2. Bundesliga stadium in future but I can't promise anything.

@All: Thank you for the nice words! FIFA 16 is still the best game and the modding possibilities are amzing. I'm only waiting for the next FIP update to play again.

FIFA 16 aswell is full of patreons and payed patches..this is the big problem which enterd on the fifa modding community,it's like covid, and as long as the people encourage this type of method i don't think the modding of fifa will reamin stand for much longer

I don’t know in which forum but here on SG the fifa 16 mods are all for free. And I think that the community here isn’t gonna change that. Look at people like the Wizzard, Scouser, Johnny, pao4, Raven, Kotiara, nikola and much more people here.. they are releasing lot’s off free stuff.

on a lot of ‘discord’ services they all ask money for it. I hope that al lot of the fifa 16 modders stay here forever.

i know many FIFA 16 payed patches..trust me..like you said, SG is a good place to enjoy your time and free patches but just because there are not allowed here..if it were not so this forum it would be full of this type of posts..

Go to data --> sceneassets --> stadium and then you must decide which version you want to use. Normal tournament (stadium_x) or Bundesliga (specificstadium_X_0_0_19) or DFB-Pokal (specificstadium_X_0_0_206). Important: No matter which version you will use you must always rename them to stadium_x. I hope that helps.

Benteler-Arena Update by Nisoley - EA

Hi guys,

last day of vacation and I have revised the last missing EA stadium from Germany: the Benteler-Arena, home ground of SC Paderborn. There is a 2. Bundesliga version (some sponsors are outdated), a tournament version and a DFB-Pokal version.

Thanks to captain8lunt I had the chance to work on Adams Park (Wycombe Wanderers) but I have some serious problems with it and to be honest I don't think that I'm able to fix all these problems. That's how it looks right now ingame:
