The Wolf 2005 Evolution Patch PES4 PC - Full Release

To whom it may concern,

I downloaded this patch and I applied it to the game according to the instructions in the ReadMe.txt, which reads:
"INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- Copy 'e_text.afs' to the c:/Program Files/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 4/dat folder.
- Copy '0_text.afs' to the c:/Program Files/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 4/dat folder.
- Copy 'e_sound.afs' to the c:/Program Files/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 4/dat folder.
- Copy '0_sound.afs' to the c:/Program Files/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 4/dat folder.
- Copy 'folder1'to the c:/Program Files/KONAMI/Pro Evolution Soccer 4/save folder."

But the team names still say "North London" and "Man Red" on the team selection menu. Moreover, I hear Manchester United chants when NEITHER of the two teams on the pitch are Man United.

WTF is going on here?

After you ran the installer, did you MANUALLY copy the files mentioned above to the necessary destination folder? Do you see the files mentioned above in a folder called "TheWolfF2005EvolutionPatchWE8IPC " in your WE8 folder?

I copied each of the above files one-by-one. The answer to your question is yes.

The turf aint so good. Old trafford's new turf looks too green, munich olympiastadion looks too yelowish. Maybe more emphasis gota be placed on turfs nex time as it affects the feel of the game

Congratulations Wolf, always the best patch...

I just would like to ask you some thing about the stadiums: you modify 3d files or just the backgorunds, or both!?! Could you gimme a sample of the files that compose a stadium? and if you have to use some kind of program to convert this files for use on 3d modeling programs, what conversion program is that?

I'm asking this question because I am fan of Atletico Mineiro, an rival of Cruzeiro (also called "Belo Horizonte" in WE8i), and this 2 team uses the same stadium, the big "Mineirão" (could you believe that once a time this stadium had more than 130.000 people in this!?). If I could undertand how to convert it, I could try to make this stadium, and who knows it could be putted on your next patch release? Thanks..

I just finished downloading the 7 parts of the patch and when I try installing it it shows some CRC error and on top of that it reports some error when I try and open the rar files individually. (N):| .....now what?

Ok i got it working....but now it's running so slow it's not worth it.

Is there a patch that just covers the realistic kits by any chance?

I have put the patch on, but when i have got a game ready and it loads perfectly then just before the game starts it suddenly goes of. Why is this?

Is there an easy way to know which version I'm currently on?

I think I downloaded 3.0... is there a way to get the 3.1 update without having to download the whole patch?

I want to be on the latest version so I can play online with other patch users.

Btw in order to play online with non patch users you need the non patched version right?

I downloaded 2 files from boomtown.

the 637.86 MB version of The Wolf 2005 Evolution Patch - PES4 PC
and the 1.47 MB version of The Wolf - Final FM2005 Update WE8I & PES4

2 Questions:

1. Installing the big one seems easy ... just copy the afs files to the dat folder and the folder1 to save..... But how do i install the small update...There is no readme.txt file. and i'm not sure what to do with these files. I have a PES4 folder, a WE8I folder and two other files (etc_ee_tex.bin and the para_we8.bin)???

2. Is it possible to integrate the downloaded files to my DVD. I mean creating a new ISO with these files... So when i install the game it automatically copies the wolf's patched files.???

This didn't work with the 16 bit zbuffer thing (or something) but once I took the check off that box it did the trick.

I could hardly play on it... because I had my jaw on the floor. Beautiful.

It's always the same thing with patches, you can't be 100% sure they will work and you think whether you have the patience to try it. This one is definitely worth all your efforts and for me it was easy as 1-2-3.
