Time to apogize to Malcolm Glazer

I am pulling up this thread again before ShiftyPowers does. There are widespread rumours that Glazers are giving van Gaal 150 millions to spend on transfers.

Also, Malcolm Glazer is dead. RIP.

And there won't be a "Time to apologize to David Moyes" thread. There should rather be a "Time to thank Glazers to kick David Moyes out of the club" thread.

It's a shame the Glazers couldn't pick their own man for the job in the first place, instead being forced by a stupid fan base to honor Fergie's retarded successor preferences.

Yeah Ferguson even considered Martin Jol for the job. Moyes was disastrous. From the owner's perspective, success and more money is what matters. For Fergie, "loyalty" was what mattered, regardless of whether the manager is qualified for the job or not. Moyes had nothing on his CV to qualify for the job. I agree, the owners should have made the decision, not Ferguson.

Was that the fans' decision? I thought Ferguson himself wanted to select his successor.

The fans fully backed it and I'm sure I can dig up several enthusiastic posts from you in the old Man U threads.

yup, I remember this ...

Maybe not Nady, but many supported Moyes, even they believed he should be given more time to burn United to ashes ...

I remember help did back him but I was a bit skeptical. Moyes was never qualified for the job.

Thats what i wrote when he came

Moyes. :nape:

"I have lots of respect for him but he does not have the experience to handle a big club. I really hope he proves us all wrong if he comes though. It looks more and more likely that he will be announced as new manager.

The good thing is that Ferguson will still be at the club as director and ambassador, and will be of great support to whoever replaces him as manager."

Now I have no respect for him.

Yeah, his resume wasn't that bad. Successful at a 2nd tier club for a large number of years, and then moved to a 1st tier club.

if the job was to turn Man Yoo into a solid 6th-7th place team, then frankly he was overqualified ... and I thought he did amazingly well, considering he didn't even need the whole season to ensure that target would be achieved ...

I was wrong. I do not know as much about my club, Manchester United, or the game of football (soccer), as Malcolm Glazer and his family. In the future I will shut up about any issue because I have shown worse foresight than George W. Bush in Iraq.

Just kidding. I have to admit the club hasn't done too bad despite the debt and that' thanks to huge sponsorship deals and the club being the most sported in the planet.

We bought Pogba for 100 m Euros but we sold Ronaldo for 80 m Euros and that money was largely unspent at that time. Still, Love United Hate Glazers. I'm glad Glazers debt didn't affect us as badly as we thought.
