Exactly. I don't think I need to tell this is a basic premiss of economics. Just because these two events happenned at a similar timing, doesn't mean one it's the cause of the other. And in this case it's clear Glazer isn't the reason of man utd's success.

I do not know as much about my club, Manchester United, or the game of football (soccer), as Malcolm Glazer and his family. Here's what I attribute to Malcolm Glazer: he "rejuvenated" your club. That's it. Here was my main point: you were all wrong about him because you assumed he would hurt the club. The only thing I have ever attributed to him in this thread is that he is doing "something" behind the scenes that was not being done in the seasons before he arrived. A claim that no one has refuted, nor can anyone refute. And yet you jump all over me trying to convince me that he didn't win the trophy. No duh assholes. YOU WERE WRONG ABOUT WHAT HIS TAKEOVER MEANT FOR YOUR CLUB! I don't know why you can't admit that. If I insinuated that you would never have won another title without Glazer, I apologize, but I don't believe I ever did. I purposely used "correlation" when using "causation" could have done a hell of a lot more, but I'm not trying to bull**** around here. There is an obvious correlation between Glazer and the title, and it's not a weak one; he didn't cause the title, but he obviously did not do anything to the detriment of the club as you all believed he would. There's certainly no causation or correlation between Glazer and failure.

The part in the first post about you not knowing as much about football (soccer) as Malcolm Glazer was pretty obviously meant to be ironic and humorous, but apparently once you start cheering for Manchester United you lose your sense of humor.

Malcolm does nothing for the fans. he's not bound to ManU as a supporter.. he sees Manchester United as a profitable investment and winning a championship is only a step for his goal. ManU is just something to make his wealth grow bigger/larger for Malcolm -whatever the word is-....
