So I got hold of this game which I have been seeking for sometime now
mostly there is bad points few good. here goes...
After you have installed the game start up the game and what do u see 640*480 or 800*600 resolution OMG is my first thought were to fix this misery and agony... hehe.but to no avail no where to fix it no hidden config files etc caus there is none. heh. ok so lets go I thought. all is in japanese ofcourse expcept main menus.
*note* i have NEVER played PES ps2 or winning eleven for ps2...
only for psx.
I started a match england sweden ofcourse hehe. and the pixels were quite huge i might say and grainy"because of resolution" not the best reminded me of commodore time lol. but thats cool caus i dont care about gfx I thought. so the match started and it feels kinda strange stiff or something. short passes felt strange caus didnt always go where i wanted as im use to in winningeleven2002. which created a limited experience, with the help of the high ball passes uhm very strange not at all like im use to when u have this bar, more like old fifa i think. and the ball movement in air wasnt realistic i can say when doing high passes.
but I guess it depends on what kind of person u are maybe u love that system they use or not... but if u played winningeleven 2002 etc it kinda sucks. I really tried to like this but to no avail.
although i enjoyed some aspects of the game like shooting running and dribble"scoring". oh and the tackles were quite quirky as well. the scoring aspect is the better part that I havent seen in other old psx titles, looked more dynamic.
and I might even "buy" the game just for that lol if it comes to europe any soon doubt it thou... something I realised after getting rid of this game is that i might have gotten a very tiiny glimpse of how the ps2 ppl have it, with their winning eleven 6 etc. i know its totally different.
so compared to winning eleven 2002 and other psx ones...
get an emulator and get those old ones !! caus they will look better even atleast winning eleven 2002 with high resoultion... thats what i think thou. u cannot compare these two at all.
jikkyouws2002=arcade/simplistic/for fifappl kinda. winning eleven etc for hardcore ppl.
so now I will wait until ps2 prices have dropped to 100 bucks... then i might join u lucky ones
*note* someppl think the framerate/animation sucked well just change the game speed and voila smooth as butter! dunno why bug maybe.
and u cannot save in this game ppl caus if u try to and run the game again it will crash! u will have to delete a savedata folder then it works again.
