after few weeks of playing I must say that PES4
there are some very annoying things I hate but I can live with them
when I played PES3 I hated uncalled fouls and handplay but I could force myself to not bother about it, now I do exactly the same and I just don't think about cons of this game and enjoy the pros

PES4(PC) all the way.

My Reasons.
1. 6 star difficulty. Man what a challenge. I love it.
2. The graphics are brilliant. They surpass anything Fifa has ever done. How f'ng real do Raul and Figo look!!??!!
3. The through pass is tuned to perfection. Finally Ronaldo is recieving my through passes properly. The through pass was horrible in WE7I.
4. No more easy goals. You have to work for your goals. Why? Because the goal keeper is smarter and tougher in one on one situations. And the defence are like swarming bees. In a good way.
5. The menus actually look good.
6. The music is slightly more bearable. Wolf's patch is definately recommended.
7. The animations are the best yet. It helps with dribbling and tackling.
8. The default formations are setup for you in advance and are correct this time. The even set the Attack and Defense settings for you. Barcelona is a good example. Their default formation is perfect.
9. Master Leauge is more challenging. Plus you can start with the actual team you want and you can choose the teams you want in your league.
10. Online.

There's alot more, but I'm done typing for now....

pes4 plays feels smells better than pes3.. yes there are some minor "bugs" in game such as keeper freeze (which looks f***** realistic at times btw..) and too easy through passes but i can look over them.. i could never go back and play we7i.. so my vote is for pes4 :rockman:

I don't think that the through balls are perfect. If you play online you will understand how annoying it is that (almost) every time your opponent presses the through ball-button, your defence runs in all directions except the ball's one.

Through passes aren't too easy. They actually go where you want them to go now instead of in WE7 where they just went anywhere. And your timing has to be right too.

As for the keeper freeze. I think it's realistinc. How many times have you seen a keeper stand still on a powerful shot he could do nothing about in real life. The thing about it that makes it look bad is the animation. They didn't add an "oh sh*t" animation for the GK. The keeper is frozen because he cannot stop the shot.

I haven't played online, so I'll have to see. On 6 star difficulty it helps alot.

Nothing can beat Master League in PES4/WE8.....Goddam im having so much fun......Allready the year is 2009.....Henry is still the best in the league(although loosing skills cause of age) and Fabregas, Clichy, Van Persie, Reyes are world class players getting selected to play for thier countries........

I bought Bergkamp's long lost son, he is 18 and has IMMENSE potential......

The cool thing about this is that he Regenearted but NOT with the same stats.....Alot worse but with only great scoring ability..........

This year's master league is by far the best. You actually have to plan for the future. You have to play the young guys, so their stats raise up. I'm already planning on what young players to buy. Plus the restictions are a really good thing. The challenge is going to keep me playing for a while.

PES4 has a lot of improvements and bugs fixed, but if we tal pure gameplay - I like PES3 better. I still play PES4 though because I'm in need of changes and different experience, but overall PES3 was more like a real football simulation. PES4 is a bit too fast and arcade for my taste. Only stright forward passing, always running, no buildup play, no holding of possesion. It reminds me of old PSX games KONAMI developed years back. I hope KONAMI won't follow this trend in next games.

Actually, I think the music in PES 4 stinx terribly!!! What the hell is this? Country music? My grand parents listen to this stuff. Fifa 2005 music is much much better. Oh well, I still think PES 4 is the best soccer game ever :-)
