1:A better menu after selecting teams, so we can choose our own stadium, wheaters, playtime etc...no more changing options-menu. Just like fifa 99.

2. It is weird, but an indoor stadium just like fifa 98 is funny or not!!!

3. To see the distance where you shot from, nice to see during free kick, or long range goal shot.

4. More tricks just like fifa99

I never thought that after 5 months people would still be sending their thoughts. This is great! EA is sure to take notice. I just wanted to thank all of you,and put a few plugs in.

1. play Euro 2000 it is a lot of fun, hopfully some of it's ideas/programing will be used in Fifa 2001.

FIFA 2001 would be great if all these thing were included but they wont be but i'll still buy it and if it isnt good i'll get my hopes up again for FIFA 2002 and be disappointed again and the cycle is repeated continuously.

i'd like to see them use commentary more effectivaly. NHL is a prime example where the commentaters rock. We don't even hear a decent summary of the match so far.

My suggestion are :

Slow the game down, and improve gameplay
Make the crowds more realistic, like they did in Fifa 97, they stadium sometimes is crowded and sometimes not, the attendance changes, like, if 2 relegated teams play, the stadium is always crowded, strange huh? And, in Fifa2K when the away team scores, why the crowd still jump happy...
And make the official jerseys, at least for the World Cup teams for god sake... And make more Stadiums, and enable us to choose then... I guess you people said all the other things... I hope guys from Ea Sports read this...

i just thought of something. d'you think they will include the new 6 second rule for goalies? how will it be implemented?

one thing that is somewhat superfluous, but I'd like anyway is a sideline cam for easy viewing of offsides calls, and less accuracy on the calls. As much as I hate it, it would make the game more realistic.

It would also be cool, but maybe not feasible, if they saved plays (goals and maybe good saves) temporarily for viewing at the end of the match. Sort of like highlights. Obviosly, if you win 8-2, they won't save all the goals, but sometimes I like to look back at the goals my team has scored when my game is over, when none of them may be worth saving.

If there was any ay to basically combine CM2000 and FIFA2000, it would be the best game ever!

one more thing - keepers in real life rarely dive fully horizontally and land with the ball in their hands. if they are that good at diving, make it a one-handed save so that the ball comes back out for a rebound.

Nice suggestions, but the part with the cold and hot streaks is probably not the best idea.

1. Much larger field:
this means more build up
2. slower players except for limited
sprinting( Euro 2000)
3. MORE OF FATIGUE AND INJURIES!
*4. instead of a conservative tackle that just presses the whole body(99% you'll get the ball back) SPREAD A LEG OUT just as in real life!(Microsot's game kind of does that)

*5.add TIMING feature for everything!
this will make volleys and headers not work all the time as well as all tackles
6. more defenders GATHERING TIGHTLY near their area and BLOCKING shots and MARKING your attackers.

Hey!!! These are all great ideas!!!! My wishlist has only one thing...

Indoor Soccer!!!!!! I think that was the best feature for Fifa 98: Road to the World Cup. My friend and I played indoor soccer in that game for 6 hours straight and im still not bored of it! So I think this is a must have!!

P.S I think that you should be able to select your own stadium.

The improvements that EA has made over the years on its fifa series is good, but it doesn't seem to satisfy us gamers
If you look at the graphics from fifa 97 and compare it to fifa2k, there's a huge improvement, having that done, we look at the gameplay which isn't aything near perfect in fifa2k...
So I'll just put my wished down now:

- Each player has his own looks, right?! so why have 200 or 300 people in the game look exactly the same. So what I want from EA is to make files of all the teams with individual faces. Also having different height and weight, just like NBA or NHL games..I know there are far much players in Fifa2k than NHL2k or NBA2k but if EA made these files for download so that if you don't want to waste your hardrive on teams you know you're not gonna play with, then just download their file that has their physical appearance even foot preferance like someone mentioned before.

- More international teams, and leagues

- BETTER GAMEPLAY, that's a biggy, but we have to be specific..things like more ball control and ball physics were mentioned before and will be a big boost for Fifa2001. All players make mistakes, even Ronaldo, or Zeidan, so imagine this, an attacker is coming towards the opponent's goal and he's all alone and tries to kick the ball but comes up empty and shoots nothing but air!! it would piss off the player but would make the game more realistic...

Sometimes in a game, we see a player's shoe come off, but we never see it in fifa
A game is delayed because of heavy rain, or players playing and slip because it's muddy and raining. Some players that were not involved in a tackle get a red card because of arguing with the ref like in euro2000 when portugal lost to france at the end and many portugese players were sent off after the game was over

- Trash talking that would be great from my opinion

- Players should improve in a season if they're playing good or even lose their spot in the starting line up if they're too bad

- Ref should call a lot of fouls that he doesn't call (eg. tackles from behind) and if he doesn't, an aggressive player might try to argue with him and get sent off while the game was running

- Away and home crowds, also to be put in these "files" for every team if you don't wanna download a 200mb game

i agree with that idea. i would like to add more about it.
1. i saw fifa2001 screen shots and i noticed that they have ea marks on shoe. i think that's really stupid. i think they should have logo of makers. for example, adidas, lotto, nike and etc.
2. i would like to see injured player carried out, instead of walking out from field like fifa2k.
3. keepers push the ball into the goal from close angle in fifa2k. i would like to see it fixed in fifa2001.
4. how about enable user to lob over the goalie? it really annoys me when computer does it against me and it never works when i do it.
5. i think it would be more fun if other team can score directly from free kick as well.
6. in fifa 2k, all players must shoot with left foot from left side of the field and shoot with right foot on the right side. however, the reality is different.
7. i would like to see goalie coming out few minutes before the game ends and help attack when they r loosing.
8. i would like to see scoring from anywhere where defending team makes a wall. in fifa 2k, u can score it only from few steps from the penalty area.
9. in fifa 2k, players do overheadkick while other team tries to head it away. in reality, indirect free kick is awarded for dangerous play but no free kick was given in fifa2k.
10. how about having commentator in ,at least, 3 or 5 different languages?
11. how about making players running to the ball instead of keeping their position? and also, automatic reaction from players, when other team tackles or so.
12. in fifa 2k, a club can have maximum 25 players but only 5 players are availabe for substitute during the game. how about making all the players u have availabe for substitute?

3.official team jerseys(with sponsers for all teams).
4.linesmen, and a 4th official(to hold up his eletronic board to make substitutions and signal added on time).
5.more stadiums, and freedom to choose
6.list of national reserves(as in world cup 98)
7.more special moves than fifa2000.
8.active bench, with coaches, subs; and camera flashes to show bench activity.
9.make it harder to score, but easier to get trough defenses(in world class level).
10.make it easier to bend and dip in free kicks!
