This year will be difficult for title because of a completely new staff (manager, assistant, Chief Execitive etc). We still have the same winning team though. Will see how things go.

Soldado < Van Persie

Some are closer calls than others, obv. But I wouldn't be surprised if Spurs had a better season than ManU. Such a solid, all-around well built team. Their depth in midfield is insane. No clue who 5 they'll usually play.
I still dont think Spurs will finish top four. One Ozil is worth more than all the players Tottenham bought this summer put together. So is one Bale.

I'm still not convinced Arsenal will be capable of holding their shit together for a whole season. Özil is great, but he does absolutely nothing defensively.

True, and they are bound to have an injury period where they are reliant on championship standard defenders like Jenkinson. However Tottenham dont have a man who can win matches on his own, whereas Arsenal (Ozil), Man City (Multiple), Manchester United (van Persie) all do and man for man they are weaker than Chelsea in almost every department.

Ozil is a big lift to Arsenal but I think Fabregas, during his Arsenal days or maybe even now was/is better than Ozil.

Oh yeah I dont think Arsenal with Ozil are good enough to even mount a challenge at better than fourth, but I just think it makes them still ahead of Tottenham. Ozil just gives them back what they have lacked since Fabregas left, and it has only really been since then that Arsenal's top four place has seriously been in question.

After two years of isolation in Russia can we really say with certainty that the 32 year old Eto'o is still world class?

Yes

He was very good when he left for Russia. He didn't score as much for Anzhi but he is the type of player who I think will do well, especially with the support he will get from Chelsea's midfield.

My gut tells me that Eto'o is going to be great for Chelsea. Offers something different, he's a great finisher and can play in multiple positions.

I haven't really watched him at Anzhi during the last years but he's still got it! :)

Made no sense eh? That's me when i'm drinking.

What i meant to say is that he's still got it, because he was a amazing striker for Barca and decided to move to Anzhi after money. (before Inter)

And there aren't really many treble back to back winners in my mind other than Eto'o. He might flop, but i think he'll be a great addition to Chelsea squad. Time will tell and how Mourinho uses him.

I was kind of suprised that Chelsea loaned out Lukaku, but since there's so much competition for a striker position, it's good for him and for Chelsea. I really rate that kid highly and i think he'll become great with proper management and right attitude. :)
