tournament mode is a bit lame and simple

we wanted to start a Liga BBVA competition with my mates(3 different teams) but we had to face the facts that there is no cup games at all, its a stand alone competition ONLY, and also no fatigue!?!!?!!!

anyway to implement these things or at least the fatigue in tournament mode?

People i have a question, In the netherlands we have 2 Topklasse leagues i want that the champion of that league promotes to the Jupiler league so

number 1 of topklasse zaterdag to jupiler league number 20
number 1 of topklasse zondag to jupiler league number 19

My questions is, how can i make this in fifa? or is there an alternative to make this?

Hm... maybe add a second round?
It would go like this

no1 topklasse zaterdag\round 2 without matches(setup round?) > jupiter league
no1 topklasse zondag /


I'm not sure how to set the relegation but in my opinion it's a good place to start.

It's not hard to add promotion/relegation. I assume you're trying that using CM 14, right?

You have to select the tournaments you want and there's an option in CM in the trophy tab I believe that has 2 checkboxes: one says "promote to" and "relegate to"... Just check the boxes as needed and select on the drill down pane the League you want to make the relegation/promotion.

It's pretty straightforward actually

It's quite easy actually.
Listen, in the new game you can't add more than 1 league tha you can relegate or promote to. You can bypass it by adding a fake second round with the promoted teams so when you assign the relegate to you pick the "second round" an you will have 1 spot for those 2 leagues.

I haven't checked that method yet but it's a good point. Maye if you put teams within the same second level league but split them in two groups you can use the relegation settings in the same manner

I've been wondering if it would be possible to get past the line limitations in the compdata files and a crazy thought hit me: The game has a folder for the standard competitions and there's a folder that's destined to FUT stuff like in Fifa 12 there was the regular dlc folder and then with the Euro dlc an eurodlc folder... What if it was possible to split competitions across more than one folder? I know it's a really longshot but maybe someone with really wicked programming mojo could come up with a way...

Any thoughts?

Hi there. I am new on FIFA 14 and I just created a new league with 18 new created teams. The new league id number is 338 (Uruguay). Then I created a new tournament using ids 2 (apertura) and 3 (clausura) copying and pasting all the informations and schedules from the Colombian League but when I start the career mode the game crashes. Could anybody help me with this? Thanks in advanced. And where can I find the database files already with all Libertadores teams and a real Libertadores? I just found some patches like moddingway but they don´t allow you to make any change using CM14. Any help?

is that a new nation? if it is, you need to add a map-image for this nation, then switch id within the country you took it's image

It is the Uruguay league id in the magical team list. And Uruguay already has map image there.

Hi guys, is it possible, that i get crashes after 6 years in the carrer mode - because i created over 4000 new players -> 180 teams


what can be other reasons for a crash after 5-6-7 years?

You should check the number of lines you have in the competition files, since there are limits and if you haven't changed anything in cmsettings.ini, you'll have to, otherwise that new league won't be playable in career mode. You should also add information for the Uruguayan League in transfers.ini and transfer.ini

I replaced my nation for a nation of South America and I've only changed that file and it works well

It's known for quite a while if you're replacing stuff there's not a lot of changes needed. I believe the goal, considering he was adding Uruguay, was to add southamerican leagues, not replace them. It's doable without replacing anything as well, just requires more changes to more files

It's your game, bro. If you want to replace stuff, you're entitled to do so. I wouldn't remove countries from CONMEBOL to make room for other confederations though, specially since UEFA has a lot of Leagues in the game and only a few of them are really that important IMO. Besides, there are very few south american leagues in the game

Hello, I want to change the stadium assignment for a tournament in the world cup database of mw patch, but i don't know which files are involved in that assignment. If anyone knows, I apreciatte some help.

EDIT: Never mind, finally I`ve found it, if it helps anyone who has the same strange question, the stadium assignment is in the competition settings.txt, in dlc folder.
