Is there any way to start the Career Mode from the next season (2014/2015) ? I changed the year_start_calendar (or smth like that) from cmsettings.ini to 2014, but the game crashes when i try to start a new career... And if i add a year to every leg from every competition, i can start from 2014 with this command but all the matches disappear, only the friendlies are available. Can someone help me ?

I am creating a new Copa Sudamericana, but firstly I can`t create a round of 32 because the game crashes, and secondly the qualified teams are the same that qualify to Copa Libertadores (1st, 2nd and 3rd), how can I do to qualify the 4th, 5th and 6th?

I really aprecciate your help.

@LUKEID, there is no way to add teams from ROW to the European competitions in the first season. You have two possible ways:

1) Create a new league - Rest of Europe or other - and add teams from this league.
2) Create national leagues without tournamets and add teams from this leagues.

Hello Guys,

I`m new here, actually new only on the registration, I have been playing Fifa games since 1996 and visiting the site along this time.

I'm having one problem concerning the Champions League in tournament mode, It happend with Moddingway and FifaMania Superpatch, after I edit something on CM14, the Champions League is just gone in the menu. Does anyone knows thow to bring it back without loosing the changes I made in CM14?

Why can't I get a simple tournament to work in the compdata? All I have are four teams and I want to make a 2-leg semi-final, 3rd place and a final. But I only have fixtures which show ingame for the semi-finals with no progression to the 3rd place or final!

I posted this in the CM14 thread too, but then I saw this thread and it might be better asked here:

Is it possible to change tournament setups after I've already started a career and have it change the draw for future tournaments in that career mode?

I'm using MWM 2.51 and I'd prefer to have AFC v. UEFA and CONCACAF v. CONMEBOL for the first round of the Club World Cup.

I'm new to the FIFA modding world, but not to modding in general. It looks like I can change the seeding easy enough with CM14.3, I just don't know if they'll stick for a career mode already in progress, or if I'd have to start a new career mode.

Also, what's the difference between the CUP and INTERCUP settings? Does INTERCUP force the games to be played at neutral sites, or does it force national teams instead of club teams, or something else entirely?

It is possibe, but you will lost your current career. So you'll have to start a new career mode.

As far as I know INTERCUP competitions may use only national teams.

Will changing it in CM14 make my existing career totally unplayable, or will it just make it so the tournament draws are the same as they were when I started the career?

It's not possible, the draw will not change. You have to start new career

No the contents of the compdata text files are copied into tables that are held in the saved game data and it is those tables that are used in that career. I can tell you exactly where that data is and how it is structured, but since no one has ever figured out how the CRC process works for the data files it wouldn't do you any good as you cannot change it.

OK, so changing it w/ CM14 will change the template for new careers, but the existing career has its own set of tables that stay unaffected?

What's the deal with Doctor+'s career/tournament mode editor then? What can I actually change with that?

Exactly that.

I have absolutely no idea. The documentation isn't entirely clear but it doesn't look to me as if it changes saved game files. I've never used it though (I am an oddity on here in that I don't modify the base game at all, but I do like to delve around inside the saved game files) so to get a proper answer you'd either need to try it yourself or find someone that uses it.

Try it, it only takes you 5 minutes. If you already try it playing Bayern or Chelsea and you didn't play the Supercup so we can't

then two groups and soon on till the final
second i changed no. of teams in international friendly from 47 to 51

my question

1-if i edited the african cup or made a qualification round in CAF using Creation master 14 does this will appear in career mode or only tournament mode
2-after saving the files in cm 14 when i go to start a new tournament the game shut down how to fix this
3-when i manage a NT in career and go to play a friendly match each NT plays two matches at the same time how to fix this

I'm updating the db of my Romanian league patch and i don't know what i did wrong, but when i play with custom formation, looks like that in game:

If i change the formation in-game, looks normal. Only Default Formation looks like Custom Formation, only all the players are arranged different (they are all in only one line at the bottom of the field).

Can someone help me and tell me what to do ?
Btw, in gameplay nothings different, the players respect their positions...

It's a DB problem, you need to look for "formations" with Db master, delete those with -1 under teamid column (the second one).
